This is insane. Thank you all so much for just picking up and reading this book. I never thought it would get this far.

Honestly, I did not expect this book to get this far. I know I won't be as lucky with other fanfictions than I have been with this one. The amount of people reading this book shocks me each and every day.

But 1K votes? You all are insane... I can't believe this actually happened.

I promise I'm working hard on the Guild Arc by the way! Since I recently finished quarterly exams, I have so much more free time to work on this book.

So, here is the 1K votes celebration! What if you were in the Port Mafia instead of the Armed Detective Agency? What would be different?

I've chosen three characters here to write about in two oneshots (a oneshot dedicated completely to Ranpo and another one dedicated to Dazai and Chuuya). I'll probably do this for the 2K Votes Celebration too for other popular characters such as Atsushi, Akutagawa, and maybe Kunikida.

I definitely liked the way the Ranpo oneshot turned out more than the way the Chuuya and Dazai oneshot turned out... the Chuuya and Dazai one was a bit rushed to be honest.

Anyways, here it is! I hope you enjoy them!

~You Will Not Hurt Me~

Ranpo had never seen a smarter person in his life. You truly were his most threatening rival. The fact that you were from the Port Mafia only added onto that fact.

When Fukuzawa finally decided to go head to head against the Port Mafia, he suggested that they send out one representative from their organizations to meet with each other and discuss a possible way to make peace with each other. Little did the Detective Agency know that the Port Mafia sent the worst person to make peace with them and stop the war.

"I'm just saying there's no point in useless bloodshed. You're one of the most intelligent people in the Port Mafia. You should know this." Ranpo shook his hands as he desperately tried to explain to you the many reasons why the two organizations shouldn't be fighting.

"I know," you shot back. "But isn't that what makes it so fun?"

"Going into this would be insane," Ranpo reasoned, "people could die."

You shrugged your shoulders, as if it was nothing. "People die every day. Yet no one complains about that."

"Maybe because it's unstoppable?"

"Well war is unstoppable too. Humans can't stop themselves from wanting something to excite them. Humans go to war for useless reasons, but we can't help ourselves. It's a basic human desire," you explained, before turning back around to your long black car, where a mafioso was waiting. The last words you said before you left were, "the Port Mafia just happens to give into that desire, unlike the Armed Detective Agency."

Then with that, you left the one and only Ranpo Edogawa on a sidewalk in the rain, confused and shocked. He was so determined he would convince the person the Port Mafia sent to not start a war... what went wrong?

The next thing he heard about you was from Dazai, who knew everything about the Port Mafia. He told Ranpo about how you were probably one of the weirder people in that organization. You were an intelligent researcher and detective to the Port Mafia who would do absolutely anything to get into a violent scene. You were also a fairly good assassin and terrifying torturer.
