Third person's POV:

Vigor's entire figure stayed still like a rock, not moving an inch of muscle as he attentively continued to receive loads of information from father. He would be a big liar if he said this life of his wasn't full of surprises. The revelation of his bloodline's "classified distinctive metal deviant" along with an extra dramatic show off coming from Benjamin made him visibly bewildered but also jolted in excitement.

Benjamin carried on with his too familiar usual stern voice and his face's expression now pouring even more seriousness into the topic.

"Mother and I all agreed that it will be the best to discuss this matter with you as soon as possible due to this continent's unpredictable future awaiting for us." Benjamin emphasized as he raised his metal wraped hand and dismissed the augmentation spell.

"Our histories, we were the first and only human mage bloodline born competent for accessing metal deviant. At the early time, before the First War between three races occurred, our ancestors were discriminated against and despised by our own race, taking their suspicion of our 'actual identity' as dwarves."

'Humans in this world are really a bunch of dickheads aren't they?' Vigor sighed internally, too speechless at how people took racism to another whole new level, especially the self absorbed and depraved nobles.

'Well done "Mr Author", you have successfully portrayed the majority of Homo sapiens in TBATE as haughty vicious villains.' ,Vigor scoffed at a certain individual who wrote the novel in his previous life, also internally.

"As the time passed, war eventually broke out and initially, humanity was the one to suffer the most severely. Dwarves had network of iron mines lied deep inside their mountains to create the most deadly armaments. Elves had their more superior affinity to the elements, enabled them to utilize magic the most effectively of all.

Humans on the other hand were greatly underprepared for battles despite being advantageous in number. Not to mention, the king of that time suddenly died because of sickness, leaving his naive and inexperienced heir to claim the throne. The human's side kept facing losses and damages until our ancestors dedicated their lives to aid the army a mass production of weapons via their metal deviant, changing the tide of war completely.

Though war ended with no clear victor , our ancestors had succeed in protecting our homeland and hence, they were conferred as nobles by the king, got praises from people like true knights in shining armors."

Benjamin spoke with his tone and words akin to those of a storyteller or a narrator, drawing all of Vigor's attention to him.

"Decades of serving under Sapin royalty and we managed to build enough wealth as well as power. When the time had come, your grandfather departed to Valden with a sole ambition."

"To rehabilitate Valden and make it a prosperous city after the war, yea yea I read it." Vigor interposed his father.

"Hahahaha, you mean everything written in that old dusty book? No boy, it never was." The Kinsteels head denied with a small laugh.

"Wait, what?" Vigor confused, looking at his mother in an expectation that she would have a same reaction as his. However , Selena seemed to be totally not surprised at all.

"You also knew this mother?" Vigor questioned.

"Just right after I married him." Selena took a sip of tea.

"As I was saying, the history book of our house, which you read in the library, is filled with a bunch of lies. And behind those cheap lies, our real secrets are safe." Benjamin explained briefly before continued:
