Vigor Kinsteel's POV:

Time flies, and my training in Elenoir was done. It was rather a win-win for me and Aya, she taught me illusion magic, I taught her echolocation magic. I did all I could, providing Elder Virion, Alduin and Merial as much information as possible from the novel. Aside from taking care of the slave traders, they were also sending troops to secretly investigate the dungeons. And last but not least, Arthur and I agreed on his plan, to aid him attaining the endgame power "Fate".

I thanked the Eraliths for their hospitality, but the King and Queen replied me back that they were the ones grateful for what I've done for the kingdom. I left the kingdom a couple hours earlier than Arthur. On my carriage, I whipped the horses, they began to move the carriage, I turned my head back, took a last look at the glorious elven castle which I had lived in for weeks.

Caught in my sight was..... the abnormal elven girl, Cassandra Maydare, who was in the training yard with Elder Virion and Tessia.

Deep down in my head, some of my thoughts kept urging me to be aware of her, clearly there was something ominous about her. No one could know if in the original world of the novel had she existed. Maybe due to my interference , she had her prodigy talent awakened, while in the canon, she lived as a slave and probably couldn't survive too long. Nevertheless, I simply didn't have time for it, so I put my trust in the Elven royalty.

Exiting the elven kingdom, I opened up a giant bag holding a bunch of exquisite Elven Dream Wine™ bottles which I kindly received from King Alduin.

"Bzzzzz." "Bzzzzz."

A dimensional ring of mine rang up like a cell phone. I summoned whatever the item that was signalling and turns out it was the communication scroll. I quickly put the Dream Wine bag inside a dimensional ring opened the scroll to met my mother's face.

Mother and father did call me a lot back in Elenoir, well, most of the times was just mother because she was very worry about me while father was more easygoing. Doesn't matter if I can reach white core, I'm still just her little baby, was what she said.

"Vigor sweetheart! How was today?", she asked me with a happy tone.

"Hello mother, it was great.", I greeted.

"Did you eat enough? Didn't miss breakfast and lunch right? You sure you don't need to come home so we can pack you full with our chief's cooking? I don't trust the those Inns and taverns' food's quality at all Vigor.", She bombarded me with a tons of questioned filled with her everlasting worry about me.

"I ate well moth-

"Wait! Since when did you have a carriage?!!", mother interrupted before I could reply.

'Craps!'

"Uhhh...Uhmmm. I bought it from the Guild so I can.... store mana beasts' parts to sell! Taking only their cores alone would be waste. " I tried to hide my perplexed face.

"What about your rings?"

"We-welp, it appears that the number of cores I gained from slayed mana beasts has taken up all the space of my rings mother. ", I made a boast about my unreal trophy with a fake proud smug. Little did mother know, inside the dimensional ring was a bunch of elven wine bottles instead.

"Ooooo, the little adventurer is showing off!",she teased me with a witty smirk and continued:
"But did you get any problem in the dungeons? Did you get hurt?".

"Not at all mother. Today I raided a D class dungeon with ease. The mana beasts were even more easier than the training dummies in our house." I lied without blinking an eye, wanting to reassure her that I was totally fine.
