Vigor Kinsteel's POV:

Am I still asleep? Am I still dreaming?

Dark.

Pitch black.

Those are the only suitable words to describe my surrounding. Nothing but a deep space without any sources of light that make me can't even tell the differences when I am opening my eyes or not. Every limb and muscle of mine were like disfunctioned machines since none of them obeyed any signals from my brain to move at all. My body however, is still in conscious as I can feel, sense the features of the environment around me. I feel like, I'm not standing on the ground, but the same time, I am not falling. I was ...... floating.

Kinda deja vu for myself huh. I remember the last time I experienced something pretty much very similar to my current predicament was when I got reincarna-.

'Ahhhhhhh...... Crap! You've god to be kidding me! Again?'

'But I didn't die, right? I remembered clearly, last night I made hell of a process, took the whole night to form myself a beautiful precious aether core and then I had to run back home in time as fast as possible by drinking all the mana potions my uncle gave. Oh, that's right, the core!'

I instantly shut my eyes to internally view my new power. A mixed color of red and ethereal purple in the shape of an orb staying inside my right ribcage, its thousands of glowing purple particles, moving around like stars in milky way. And there is my mana core, still remained solid orange. Yes, I'm still in my current body, my soul didn't leave yet. So good new is: I'm definitely alive. Bad new is: why am I here, or, how the hell did I get here?

All of sudden, another deja vu phenomenon occurred, a bright pure white light appeared from thin air and blinded my sight, like a flash grenade. I followed my instinct and covered my eyes to protect them but it was too late. I was dazzled and little bit stunned as if I was a famous movie star got attacked by one hundred flashes from cameras of the paparazzi. My two poor eyeballs were burning in pain, suffering from the damage of whatever that light source is.

"ARGH! MY FUCKING EYES!" I yelled to no one in particular.

"Hello, Erik. It's been a while, or should I say your *real* name now, Vigor." A silvery but mighty tone pulled my attention. The tone was familiar to me , as I haven't heard it for many years. And, only the owner of this tone knows my old name.

Waiting my sight to recover, I greeted him: "Oh hi Azrael. Why am I here again, did I mess up anything or-?"

The archangel slowly approached by flying, but without even using his pairs of giant crow wings on his back. He was floating just like me, except that he could master his movements through the void perfectly like it was nothing but a normal walk for him ,unlike my body which is pernamently stuck at one single position.
As soon as he closed off the distance between me and him, he raised his left hand and snapped his fingers.

Immediately, a set of table and chairs appeared from thin air(welp, not exactly since there isn't air in the void). Taking a first look at them, I made a strong guess in terms of material they're probably just woods, just like other usual furniture based on their dark walnut color. And I inevitably exclaimed in my mind that sitting on those chair for long time will be very uncomfortable due to the hardness of wood until Azrael told me to sit down:

"Take a sit my friend."

"Yea, about that, I really don't know how to move my body in this-."

Not finishing my sentence yet, my body suddenly descended by itself until my butt was placed on the chair and I was in a sitting position. At right that moment, I took back everything I said before, the chair was unexpectedly soft without any needs of layers of pillow. The material's color made you think that it is but a cheap wooden chair, but when you sat on it, it felt like a comfy sofa, pure satisfaction.
