Y/N'S POV:

---------------------

When I woke up, I wasn't staring at a dull ceiling from my childhood. Instead, I was met with the hotel's ceiling. I flinched and closed my eyes again, not expecting the sudden rush of light. I felt someone holding my hand. Also, my head was slightly elevated. I slowly opened my eyes and tilted my head slightly. I saw Seek's head, his eye closed...

I'm on his fucking lap. Great. I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes with my free hand,  looking around. Halt was sitting against a wall, asleep. Somehow, she looks extremely nervous. Even when she's sleeping. Ambush had bandages all over his face. It was a sad sight to see.. Figure was sleeping on the end of the bed.

I turned back and saw Seek leaning against a wall while sitting on the bed. Eyes was holding my hand. Huh. I looked around for Screech. Where was he? I looked up and saw him wrapped in his own tentacles, glued to the ceiling. He's also asleep. Rush was sitting on the floor with his arms folded on the bed, his head resting on his arms.

I slipped my hand out of Eye's grasp. Though, this small action woke him up. All of his eyes opened out of sync, all of them blinking repeatedly. Then, when he saw me, they all opened fully. "PLAYER!!" He suddenly tackled me, encasing me in a tight hug. This alarmed everyone one. Suddenly, I felt like my ribs were about to get crushed because of everyone hugging me.

"We thought you were dead!"

"Are you okay!?"

"Don't ever scare us like that ever again!"

I could barely make out a single word they were saying. I felt like a celebrity getting yelled at by their fans, to say the least. I wheezed for air and threw my hands about, thrashing, as if to signal my lack of air. They all finally either let go of me or loosened their hug after a few seconds. Though, Screech opted for keeping his tentacles loosely wrapped around me at all times. They felt... Oddly warm. Okay.

"Darling-"

"Don't fucking call them that."

"Okay, okay. Player, why'd you suddenly pass out? You scared us all!"

Halt spoke in a concerned and saddening tone. It took me a few seconds to register her words, but when I did, I decided to tell them. With a shaky breath, I told them my entire dream. And, to add salt to the wound, I told them everything about my parents outside of the dream.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Needless to say, everyone was mad when I told them about my parents. And my trauma. And everything. They weren't happy. In fact, I think they're even angrier than when anyone picked me up and ran.

Figure was the first to speak. With their brown-blonde hair, calm expression, and completely white eyes, you would have never guessed that they're angry. "..Are your.. parents.. still alive, by any chance? If so, where are they," Figure's tone spoke more than what they just said. They sounded so angry.. I never though anyone's tone of voice could be so expressive.

I shook my head. "I don't know where they are, but they're most likely dead. It's just that.. everything they did kinda scared me. Which is why Ambush getting beaten up triggered me a bit." Then Seek spoke.

"We're so sorry, Player.. We'll never beat up others infront of you ever again, okay? Or anything to trigger you. If you feel like something is crossing the line, tell us. We'll stop."

I nodded. Everyone else nodded. I didn't expect everyone to be so.. supportive. And cooperative. But I wasn't exactly complaining. In fact, I appreciate how loving they all are. Seek suddenly spoke again.

"Also, I was gonna check you for any scars, but I didn't want to without your consent to. Are you okay if we do?"

The silence was deafening. God, I hated it. I wouldn't have minded showing them scratches and bruises I got from childhood clumsiness and all, but scars from my trauma really struck a nerve. They're hideous reminders of my past that I locked up behind clothes for a reason. I shook my head no and recoiled slightly.

Seek sighed and nodded, "Whatever you say. If you don't want us to, then we won't, Player. The choice is yours."

That reminded me of something.

My name. Player. It's not player.

"My name isn't Player." I blurted out without thinking. Suddenly, all of the shuffling and moving stopped. Hell, I thought everyone stopped breathing. Well, they all probably did.

You hesitated before speaking again, "My name isn't Player. My name is Y/N. My real name."

Eyes' eyes somehow seemed to widen even more. Everyone's did, infact. Eyes and Rush whispered in sync. "Y/N..."

As if they cherished your name, everyone kept repeating it over and over again.
