You stepped back onto the Razor Crest and dusted your gloves off, smiling to yourself under your helmet at your plan.

Time to set it in action.

You had gotten Cara to watch the child for a few days, though Din just thought it was for a date.

It was now noon, and you just had to get him.

Going up to the cockpit ladder, you called out to your lover. Almost immediately, he slid down the metal rungs and pulled you into a hug. You had gotten up early, before he even woke up, to get everything set up, only leaving a note and breakfast.

"I was wondering where you were." He mumbled, tucking your head under his chin. You chuckled and hugged back, nuzzling your helmet into his neck. After a few seconds, you pulled away and instead took his gloved hand in yours.

"Well, now you'll get to find out." You grinned, and even with the vocoder, he knew you were excited.

You set off down the path of where you had parked, entering the threshold of the local town. It was relatively small, compared to Tatooine and such, but it had its charm.

The town was bright and lively with townsfolk, but they all left you alone, not paying you any mind or getting in your way. It was a nice break from all the stares and attention that your armor usually brought.

There were colorful decorations and lights, while the buildings themselves were light shades of oranges, reds, yellows and beige, leafy vines pouring over windowsills. The roads were a grassy, choppy stone, but still even to walk on.

Even before you were dating, you'd do small things for him when you weren't running from the Empire or taking strange jobs to pay for necessities. Like make a nicer meal than usual and look after the ship and kid while he slept, but these acts of service and love only grew along with your relationship. He found it to be one of your love languages.

But something felt different about this date, he just wasn't sure what.

For the next few hours you walked through town, two Mandalorians hand in hand.

You went to different stalls, buying foreign fruits and fabrics, a shiny toy for the kid and other random knick knacks and weapons for your collection. In the center of the trade market was a large layered fountain. But instead of water trickling out the top and spilling over the sides into the bottom pool, there was fire. Bright orange flames licking at the stone and sparking over the edge, crackling flames roaring at the bottom. It was quite a sight, and reminded Din of the forge back home.

After you stopped to awe at the blazing fountain, you dragged him on a brief hike up a small mountain of woods, ending up in a clearing at the edge of a cliff, secluded from what little society resided on this planet.

You weren't a child of The Watch, and were therefore free to take off your helmet whenever you wished, but you didn't. It made you feel safer and stranger, proving useful in an unexpected attack. Din had worked hard to earn your trust, as you did his, and the result was greatly rewarding.
