You lay splayed across the hard metal deck of the ship, fighting to catch your breath in water boarded lungs as the water from your soaked clothes left your skin cold and clammy. Three blurry silhouettes standing over you. The past half hour slowly flew to the front of your mind.

Soon after the kid's pram was knocked into the water and Din jumped in after him, you had stayed behind to fight off the Quarren. You prided yourself with your combat skills and strength, but you were tired after the awful trip to Hoth, and there were a lot of Squid-faced maniacs.

One of them snuck behind you, jabbing you in the back with the butt of his spear, sending you crashing into the ocean after your beskar companion.

As soon as your body met the water, a chill went straight to your bones, but you tried to ignore it and adjust your eyes. Everything was hazy, but you could make out the blurs of blaster fire and the sluggish movements of your Mandalorian, as well as the large tentacles twisting in every direction as it attacked him.

Moving as fast as you could in the restricting liquid, you drew your rifle and took aim, almost missing by a meter. However the more you shot, the more you realised how useless it was, and yanked the guns strap around your back, blinking furiously to keep yourself from passing out.

Your lungs were burning, but you knew you couldn't just leave them. If something didn't happen soon to bring things into your favor, none of you would last much longer.

Snatching the light saber from the back of your belt, you couldn't tell if your hands were shaking as you ignited the f/c laser, but you swam up to the creature and blocked any blow that tried to come at the Mandalorian. He was surprised at the sudden defence, but used your protection to his advantage as he tried to make it back to the surface, grabbing the back of your jacket as you continued to fight off the beast.

It was a struggle to get back to the ship, until he suddenly felt lighter and the dim f/c glow faded away behind him. He began to panic, but saw you beside him in an instant, face scrunched as you fought not to breathe in any water and get to the top.

Finally you breached the choppy waves, gripping the bars of the grate that separated you from the rest of the ship, gulping and coughing until your lungs were full and water no longer threatened to choke the life out of you. But your relief was short lived.

Spears and swords were thrust between the bars, barely missing you and Din every time. One nicked your cheek, and another your arm, but you ignored the prominent sting and tried to find a safe way out, wishing someone nearby would see trouble and help.

Fortunately for you, help had come.

The blaze of a jetpack was heard from above, and the alien's chortling was cut short by blaster fire and clashing blades. You could see three blurry figures fighting around the corners of the grate, all clad in blue armor.

It was only a matter of moments before not a single Quarren was able to move. A painted helmet with curved slits as a visor appeared between the bars, and they extended their gloved hands.
