Things having ended badly at the last training session with Hawk abruptly leaving and ending class no one knew what to expect. Johnny and Daniel both told their respected kids that they'd try but nothing else meaning the kids were going in blind to practice.
Cherish and Miguel had a breakfast date which consisted of trying something new from the menu of a mom-and-pop shop – like whipped strawberry-lime butter pancakes. This is why they arrived together to practice only to find Sam sitting in an old yellow car looking very gloomy
Bags in hand the couple walk over to the car opening the passenger and driver's door, "Good day, my lady. My name is Miguel and I'll be your chauffeur this morning."
At her boyfriend's fake British accent Cherish didn't know what to say – the accent was horrible yet adorable in her eyes.
"Oh babes no that accent was terrible," Cherish says in her own accent letting the word 'babes' slip as she'd been saying it since the night prior because Spencer had gotten drunk and babes or baby was in almost every sentence leaving his mouth
Cherish didn't call Miguel by a nickname other than Mig, she still even sometimes calls him bro or dude. With her calling him babe in an accent he was shell-shocked, but he tried to cover it up "Can you help me hot-wire this thing?"
"If you're serious I have a post saved on how to hot-wire a car. Sam you in?" Cherish replies pulling her phone out of her yoga pant pockets
Not surprised that Cherish would have read and saved how to hot-wire a car, Sam couldn't help but smile at the couple's interaction. The small faint smile was the only reaction the couple got out of the girl
"Wow, not even a courtesy laugh?" Miguel jokes with a bright smile
Sam softly shakes her head before explaining her gloomy mood, "My dad was gone by the time I woke up. Know if he had a chance to connect with Johnny?"
"I didn't see him this morning either," Miguel replies as he'd left too early, and considering how the pep talk had gone after the last practice he understood Sam's gloomy mood because they didn't know what was going to happen to their combined dojo
