Wearing their white Miyagi-Do gis everyone was lined up in rows while Johnny walks around loudly speaking, "The Sekai Taikai is coming. It's up to us to pick our seven most badass fighters"
"And there are no easy decisions. We know you all wanna go to Barcelona" Daniel says with compassion and understanding
"Some of you think you're shoo in. That you're at the top of your game, that nothing or no one can stop you" Johnny states being more realistic and wanting to those with their egos to not get too far ahead
"Some of you think you're the underdogs, and you don't know if you have what it takes and you feel left out and left behind" Daniel says knowing from experience and has noticed the skeptical looks of his students
"But it's a level playing field. Anything can happen," Johnny tells the group knowing all of them came up from being underdogs
"Each and everyone of you has a shot. So, as we make our evaluations, do your best" Daniel says making it know that they were all going to be evaluated as the practice days go by
"Now is not the time to puss out" Johnny shouts walking past Bert and lifting a fist to which the kid skillfully blocks without flinching
"Even though we're competing against each other, we are still one dojo. And it's time to bring out the best in all of us" Daniel says as while they were looking at each members skills they were also going to evaluate how well they work with others
"So, which of you has what it takes to be in our top seven?" Johnny asks standing at the front of the class alongside Daniel

Walking through the school's doors as a group of four Miguel asks, "Alright so y'all think there's any chance we don't make it in the top seven?"
"Maybe when hell freezes over" Tory states which makes her boyfriend and Sam laugh in agreement
"Let's hope there's not a tournament category for humility" Sam smiles as they walk down the halls
"Oh, come on. We got two All Valley champs and two runner-ups" Robby shakes his head with a smile knowing there was no way they weren't going to make it in the top seven
