The news that Johnny and Miguel were going to return with Kenny was great news because that meant that Carmen and the baby were safe and that they had a new player on the field. When Daniel calls a team meeting before the three arrive it sets a mood when he shares what he'd learned that morning.
Johnny unlocks the door and flings it open, "We're back, bitches, eager to kick ass. Who's ready to win this thing?"
Cherish quickly makes her way to Miguel's side and pulls him into a hug not caring that the room was not all about celebrating their return. Cherish and Miguel stay with their arms around each other as they looks back into the room that stayed quiet and looked like they were contemplating life making Johnny ask, "What crawled up everyone's butts?"
The news the team had been given was that Silver was back and supporting the Iron Dragons in the Sekai Taikai which is why the Sensei's walked out of the room to talk about it.
In the room Devon was making sure Kenny knew she regretted having laced his water which led to him pooping his pants in the forest and failing having captured the flag. Kenny took her sabotaging him flattering because she saw him as the biggest threat and had already forgiven her.
With Kenny officially in Barcelona alongside Miguel meant Kenny was going to take Devon's spot and that news didn't sit well with everyone. Mainly Demetri who didn't buy that Kenny had forgiven Devon so suddenly. To him Kenny is a potential traitor - which he tries to bring up to Sam only she wasn't jumping to conclusions like him.
Cherish and Miguel on the other hand were hugging each other, "I missed you"
"I missed you too" Cherish says back before realizing he was only gone for less than two days making her break the hug and lean back to look up at him "Are we pathetic for not being able to go two days without seeing each other?"
"It felt like a week apart," Miguel honestly says considering all the flying and anxiety that came with knowing his mom was in the hospital made the hours feel long and he wanted Cherish to hold his hand at the very least
