While not everyone was set to go on to Barnes next round the whole dojo still showed up in support of the top 14. Turned out the next task was a version of capture the flag, only each member had a total of five flags on their body
Hawk finishes helping Miguel tie the last flag around his bicep, "Thank you"
"Ready for the big day?" Hawk asks Demetri who walks over to them
"Oh, I was born ready." Demetri confidently states as his night with his girlfriend meant he couldn't loose "Just like MIT, you're not going to Barcelona without me."
Demetri walks off making Miguel laugh at Hawks facial expression, "What bro? Every time he mentions MIT, you go gray."
Hawk looks back before answering, "I didn't apply"
"What? Why?" Miguel asks looking over at where Demetri had walked off
"That frat party we went to made me realize I never even looked at any other schools. We picked MIT before all this karate stuff. I just wanna see if there's a better option for me"
Miguel could understand what Hawk was saying and his thought process making him stammer, "I... i hear you, but MIT is pretty great"
"I know. It's all Demetri can talk about. It's killing me" Hawk says as the guilt of his secret was drowning him
"You should probably tell him," Miguel says walking off at the sight of Cherish leaving Hawk with his thoughts
Walking over to Cherish who was tying her white belt around her gi, "You're late, bambina"
"I know, I know" Cherish says picking up her five red flags from the platform and turns to Miguel, "Help me?"
Miguel takes one of the red flags and ties it to her arm, "What happened?"
"Apparently my brothers are both arriving today" Cherish says and while it was good news some heads up would have been nice considering one of them is on 11 hour flight "and I had to take Genome on a walk because he was just too hyper which sucked because i woke up with a headache that has not gone away"
