Spencer and Matthew being back home didn't mean they were now home all the time but rather they were out using their freedom from school and unemployment in search for stability. Odette still being on leave and not taking up any summer classes to teach made her be home most hours of the day taking care of Margo but every now and then she would leave the house to walk the neighborhood. As for Klaus he did his best to make all his classes remote but over all some work still having to be on campus left the Luck-Marie home empty for most hours throughout the day.
Meaning there was always going to be rules set in place if Miguel and Cherish were ever home alone. So far those rules have yet to be broken meaning they were still able to be in the house alone even if sometimes walking into the house knowing they were both inside alone made the family tread carefully.
Cherish laughs can be heard from behind her closed bedroom door, which then was followed by a conversation.
"Wait. Go slow"
"Ready?"
"Go"
A big thud on the wall can be heard followed by Miguel cursing and Cherish laughing which makes Klaus tread carefully towards his daughters bedroom door, noticing how Genome was laying outside her closed door.
"Cherryblossom?"
"Yeah?" Cherish clearly calls back
Klaus knocks on Cherish's closed bedroom door before opening it, making Genome run in, "Why was the door closed?"
Cherish and Miguel look up from the bedroom floor only Cherish was sitting up right and Miguel was doing a handstand from which he quickly stands up from and fixes his shirt which had risen up, "We're trying to see who can hold a handstand the longest, and Genome keeps doing this-"
Genome had run straight to Miguel who had been doing a handstand which was dangerous for the dog who they didn't want to fall on top of.
"Cher has me beat by five seconds," Miguel shares looking down at the stopwatch on Cherish's phone which she had lifted up so her dad can see the timer on the phone
