"Migs, are you really just going to keep watching me paint?" Cherish kept forgetting he was still on call while she painted, she'd set up her phone on another easel so they could talk while she continued to paint
Miguel ruffles his hair liking watching her paint, she was always in her zone and so calm but also when a song came on and it snapped her out of her zone she's sing along and maybe dance along, "This is the longest we've gone without seeing each other in person bambina!"
Miguel was right. After what happened at Cobra Kai dojo Cherish had gotten grounded meaning no Miguel. "I didn't realize how much time we spent together until I found myself aimlessly walking through my house bored out of my mind because nothing seemed appealing. Like those two days without electronics, I almost cried because I wanted to take a photo of Genome chasing a bird only to realize I couldn't even tell you about it"
"Did he get his butt nipped again?" Miguel questions and Cherish didn't have to see the screen to know he was smiling. He always listened to her stories about her dogs - she loved that
With a smile, Cherish drops her brush in her used brush jar and looks over to the screen, "No"
