"Do you see Sunhi anywhere?"
Jackson asked me while scanning the library. I did a half ass search for her before turning around.
"Nope oh well, let's go."
I spoke while heading for the doors, but stopped in my tracks as Sunhi appeared.
"Jackson bear!"
She walked right past me and hugged Jackson tightly while cooing. I almost took a fist full of her hair and threw her to the ground.
"Yeah, hi Sunhi."
He pushed her off softly while backing up a step. I went by his side calmly while the chick rambled on.
"I brought my textbook, my notes, my algebra homework, and my brain of course! This is going to be so fun, studying with you."
"Don't forget my friend BamBam."
I smiled at her falsely as she stared at me. Her happy expression soon faded, and she looked confused.
"Um, I thought it was just going to be me and you?"
"Yeah but my best friend here is really good when it comes to studying, so he can assist us. Alright, let's go find a seat."
We trailed behind Jackson as he went in the back looking for a table of comfort. You would think Jackson being naive and bringing me along was on purpose just to piss her off. But it wasn't, in fact the opposite. He is very oblivious to the fact that Sunhi has a crush on him and doesn't even want to study at all. Just wants to coo around him and flirt while alone. He actually brought me along really thinking it would benefit her. If you look at it, Jackson is a really sweet and kind person. But not Sunhi, she's just a two faced bitch.
"Is this okay? There's enough sunlight here to read our books easily."
Jackson asked while taking a seat, settling anyway. I took mine as well while Sunhi sighed loudly.
"Yeah sure, I guess."
I was kind enough to let her sit next to him. But only because they needed to help each other, I was just there to assist...and to make sure she doesn't do anything unnecessary.
"Okay so where do you want to start Sunhi?"
Jackson asked with a smile, opening his textbook.
"Um, page 243. I'm having trouble with linear equations."
'That's not even on the test.'
"Well then let's begin!"
---
"Wow Jackson, you're so smart. Even better than the teacher."
I watched as Sunhi wrapped her hands around his arm, and I clenched my fists so hard my knuckles turned white.
"I'm not better than him since he is the one that taught me. But thank you."
I watched as she moved her face up and rested her chin on his shoulder, giving a giggle of a laugh. I couldn't hold in much more, and kicked her shin harshly under the table.
"Ow! What the hell is your problem?!"
She shouted at me but I didn't care. I just brushed her off with a lie.
"I apologize I didn't mean to kick you. I was just swinging my feet back and forth."
I gave a shrug, and I could see she was agitated. Jackson looked at me oddly but I didn't look back. He's known me for a long while, and knows when I'm lying.
"Anyway, uh, where were we? Studying your notes?"
He spoke as if trying to defuse any situation. As they kept to their studying I just sat back and watched. I may be coming off as jealous and even possessive. But that's because I am. I don't want anyone else touching him. I don't want anyone giving him a cute name, or thinking they are closer than me. I belong to Jackson, and he belongs to me. Whether it's established or not.

"See you later Sunhi."
I waved as she walked the opposite direction from us down the sidewalk by herself. BamBam stood next to me while tugging on his book bag straps, occupying his hands.
"Finally she's gone."
I heard him speak with relief while turning to start walking. I caught up with him in a few fast paced steps, swinging my arm around him.
"You seemed frustrated while you were there. You didn't have to come if you didn't want to."
He shook his head quickly, keeping a straight face.
"I wanted to go, you're my friend. I like being next to you as it's enjoyable. Even with an annoying girl in the presence. She just gets on my nerves. But I didn't want to leave you alone with her either."
The words he spoke were sweet and friendly. It showed in my eyes that he has my back as I have his. Yeah Sunhi was a little annoying being all touchy with me. But I only see her as a classmate I know. Not as a friend, and nothing less of an acquaintance.
"Well next time I'll just decline her study date and use that time to hang out with you."
I poked his cheek and made him laugh, sounding like music to my ears.
I really care for BamBam and always want to protect him. Ever seeing him hurt would pain me in the worst ways. I don't want anyone touching him or bullying him. I want to hold him to keep him safe. Tell him everything will be okay whenever he's down. Though I question why I feel like this at times. I mean I do care for him but, that's all right?
"Jackson, you okay? You're staring into lala land right now."
I was brought back to reality when I heard BamBam's voice as he touched my arm.
"Oh yeah, no I'm fine. Come on, you're staying over my place tonight."
