A week passed since Jackson found my confessional letter towards him. We decided to be in a relationship of course, and it did take some time to get used to. With all the hugging, hand holding, and kisses. Yeah it is what I wished for, but in the moment it causes my stomach to flip.
I walked out of my third class, art. One of the two classes I didn't share with Jackson. I quietly moved about through the halls to head to math, when I was immediately attacked by an arm hug.
"BamBam!"
Jackson suffocated me by pushing my face into his jacket, squeezing me to death. Seconds later he let me go, leaving his arm around my shoulders.
"A nice and calm "hi" is just as good."
"I don't do calm. You should know me already."
He was right, relaxation wasn't his thing too much.
"Well someday you should-"
"Jackson!"
Oh great, it's her.
"Oh hey Sunhi, how are you?"
I watched her arm wrap around his, and I felt my anger quickly rise. Even knowing he didn't look at her that way, it's still the fact that she does with him.
"I'm doing great! Hi Jackson's friend who kicked me purposely at the library. What's your name? Bambi?"
I wanted to punch her, but put on a smile instead and retaliated.
"It's BamBam. What's your name? Slut? Am I right?"
"Excuse me?! How am I-"
"Sunhi, please calm down. Let's just keep on walking to class in a settle attitude, okay?
Jackson spoke while trying to keep everything contained. I was half hoping he wouldn't so I could lash out on her, but everything happens for a reason. I walked on ahead of them as I saw the door to our class in view. Just even being next to her annoyed me.
I twisted the knob slightly and pulled the door open with a swing, heading to my desk. As I sat down and began to pull out materials, Jackson and Sunhi entered side by side not long after.
"I know he's your best friend, so I'll be nice and stay away from him. Just if he talks rude to me, I'll do the same."
I could hear her speaking with a fake sorry tone. I purposely left my things at my desk and left my seat, running up to Jackson's desk as he approached it.
"What are you both talking about?"
I gave an innocent grin. Sunhi glared my way before speaking again.
"Well, I was actually about to ask Jackson something. Since the theme of prom this year is girls ask boys to the dance, I was wondering, would you like to go with me Jackson?"
She blushed harshly but I could see she had actual confidence that he would answer with a yes.
"I- uh...Sunhi, I would love to but-"
The anger and jealousy built up to a limit in me, and I acted on my emotions more than my common sense. Before I could even stop myself, I took a hold onto Jackson's jaw, and slammed my lips into his. What felt like long seconds later, I pulled away and gave out a short breath. As I turned to Sunhi I gave a confident smirk and stood in front of her.
"He already has a date, bye."
I gave a wave of my hand in her face. Inside I was beating myself up for even doing that in class, but on the outside I gave a shell of "I am proud of it". Her face was priceless as it was filled with utter shock and horror. The whole class of few students that arrived early were also silent. Everything was just quiet. Slowly and awkwardly, Sunhi took her path to her desk in the back of the room. I turned to Jackson who also had the same expression, bracing himself on the wall next to his seat.
