*Kitanna's POV*
I felt dizzy as I opened my eyes. I was in my house... I think. All I could remember was Karai hitting me with a dart and Mikey...
"Mikey?" I croaked.
"It worked! Kitanna, are you okay?" Mikey's voice rang out.
"Yes... But what about you? Are you alright?" I replied.
He laughed. "A little frightened, but I'm alright."
I sat up. I attempted to get off the table, but I couldn't move my arms that well.
I looked at Mikey to see a worry struck face. "Is something wrong?"
"Don't worry Mikey, I'm-"
"HAVE NO FEAR, DR. MICHELANGELO IS HERE!" Mikey called. He began lifting my noodle arms and inspecting my head for random injuries.
I stifled a giggle at his behavior. I felt fine, besides the inability to move correctly.
"Aha!" Mikey exclaimed suddenly. "I found what was causing the pain!"
"What?" I didn't feel anything...
He plucked an item off my neck and showed it too me. A shard of metal... must have come off of a building or something.
"Thanks Mikey," I stated hugging him.
He smiled and placed the metal piece down. "No prob, cat girl."
"What happened to Karai?" I asked.
Mikey rubbed his neck and looked at the ground nervously. "She, uh, got away..." He looked at me to see that I did not believe his explanation.
"Really?" I replied.
He smiled again. "Well, I sorta ran away because of the poison she put in you so... I patched you up here," he responded.
I was astonished. A poison created by Karai could barely ever be cured. "Wow, Mikey! That's awesome!"
"Really?" He asked, surprised.
"Yeah! How did you find out what to put in the canceling chemical?" I asked again.
"I... uh... I pick up a few things from Donnie while he's half asleep..." he replied slowly. "Speaking of which, we should probably go and tell them we're okay..."
I nodded. "Yes, we should." I hopped off the table. "After you."

*Leo's POV*
"Karai. What are you doing out here?" I growled.
She laughed. "Oh, Leo. Your attempts to be menacing are priceless!"
"Where's Mikey? Where's Kitanna?" I refused to give in to her little schemes.
"They're on the run. At least, your brother is. What happened to my sister? I have no idea." She smirked. "What's she to you anyway?"
"A friend," I replied monotonously.
The comeback seemed to stun her. Raph took this as an opportunity. "Why can't you just give up trying to eliminate her! You've tried countless times, and every single one of them has failed!"
She laughed again. "Those plans had faults, but we already have one brewing. All we need now is your younger brother, and that communicator the purple banded one has. Then things get interesting."
She turned to leave, but I stopped her in her tracks with, "We know what happened last time, Karai."
She turned her head slightly.
"You saved your sister. You love her, and don't want anything bad to happen to her," I stood my ground.
She whipped back around to face me. "She betrayed us! Me!" She hollered.
"No. You don't know what to think because your father is forcing you to stay on his side and not have a choice."
Anger bubbled in her eyes. "Shut up!"
"You know what side you belong on, and you refuse to admit you're being played."
That statement was the straw that broke the camel's back. She ran at us, blade raised, fury in every movement of her body. Obviously she went after me
first. I went to block, but nothing can in contact with my blades.I looked to see a chain around Karai's katana.
It belonged to Mikey's nunchucks.

*Mikey's POV*
We finally found my bros right as they were fighting Karai. I threw my chuck chain at her and ripped the katana from her hand.
"What?!" She screeched. She looked over and saw Kitanna and I in fighting stance. Her eyes widened as she looked Kitanna up and down. "You... I poisoned you...!" She yelled. "Why do you keep living?! Why is nothing wrong?!"
"Something is wrong, sister." Kitanna replied, her cloak hood echoing her voice. She hopped onto the building below and unsheathed her katana. She pulled her hood down and revealed her cat ears.
Karai was silent with awe. "I... did I do that?" She whispered.
"No, but fath- the Shredder, did. He doesn't love us, Karai. He's using us."
Karai looked at the ground sadly. Kitanna walked over and gently placed her hand on her sister's shoulder.
"There he doesn't give you a choice. Here, we do." She smiled and her cat teeth showed.
Karai slightly gasped, then looked down again. "I..." she looked up at me. Anger crawled back into her eyes. "Stop trying to be friends with me sister. I have a job to do, and you're just trying to get me out of it." She reached behind her back.
"No. We all are allowing you to be free of the Shredder. You must believe-" Kitanna was cut off by the blind powder Karai used. She was enveloped in white powder, causing her to go into a coughing fit.
Kitanna fell back onto the rooftop. Her eyes were burning yellow and red from pain and irritation. She cried out in pain, wiping her eyes with her arm in her cat-like manner.
I growled and hopped down in front of her and stood in fighting stance. "Don't you know that having siblings by your side is the strongest alliance you can ever have?! You just gave up the greatest thing in the world for your own selfish gain. I hope you know that."
I was surprised as anyone was. I couldn't believe I had said that many strong words in one sitting!
Karai was stunned, but laughed it off. "These are my siblings. My brothers." She gave a whistle and all the foot clan soldiers appeared on the roof.
She turned to leave and shouted, "Get the young one! Father has plans for him and his Sensei and as for my sister..." She hesitated before finishing, "do whatever you can to make sure she doesn't walk out of here."
