*Mikey's POV*
I sat in the palm of Snake for what seemed to be an eternity. Every second of that eternity had my hopes drop deeper and deeper. My brothers weren't coming.
The occasional thump of Snakeweed taking steps slowed. My mind began to race as the vines around me loosened.
I heard muffled voices talking.
"...and who were you able to obtain?" A dark filled voice asked.
"The orange masked one. The female is...well, in a twist, to put it nicely," a louder voice explained.
An evil laugh penetrated the vine I was in. Was he talking about Kitanna? I hoped she was okay!
"Bradford, take him to his cell. I will be down shortly to... interrogate later," Shredder's voice ordered.
"Yes, master," Dogpound replied.
Suck up, I thought. I struggled a bit, knowing the vines had been loosened. I managed to get my arm free, and used my nunchuck chain to pull all the others down off me.
The top of the cage began to break and the nights sky filled my eyes. I bent my knees, ready to flee, but a giant paw grabbed me before I could do anything.
"And where do you think you are going?" Dogpound asked, gripping my arms to my body.
"Let go of me, Dog-breath!" I told him.
"Not on your life," he replied. "Which," he paused for a laugh. "Seems to be on the line, at the moment, so I suggest you stop making stupid remarks and shut up."
I gulped and kept my mouth shut as told to. Dogpound clutched me tightly and brought me to the basement of Shredder's lair. He threw me into a cage and locked the door, leaving me alone in the cellar.
A couple minutes went by and still nothing happened. I expected to be interrogated... Or something.
Just as I was about to think this was all just a bad dream, a door opened and light spilled into the dark cell.
The man of metal came in (not very quietly, I may add) and stopped in front of my cell.
"Do you know why you are here?" He asked mockingly.
"I ran away when you tried to catch me?" I squeaked.
Shredder laughed. "Such idiocy."
"Hey!" I replied with a pout. I didn't care that I was in a cell at the Shredders lair and that he could do whatever he wanted to.
"Well, am I wrong? Don't your brothers think of you that way?"
"Well... I..."
"Enough. You are here to lure your Sensei and my rebel daughter into a trap. And then when they're gone, I'll have a few turtle shells to decorate my throne room with," he sneered, leaving the room.
My heart was pounding so fast I thought it was going to explode. I was bait...
Not that they were going to come, but if they do, I hope they get caught in traffic so they won't get hurt.

*Kitanna's POV*
We brought Donnie in quickly to his lab. April met us in there, and when she saw Donnie her eyes widened and she insisted she help.
She helped me clean Donnie's wounds while Raph and Leo tried to wake him up.
They pushed on his chest, releasing more green fumes from his lungs.
"That's it! Try to get as many of those fumes out of his lungs as you can!" I instructed.
"How will we know when to stop?" Raph asked.
"When the air coming out isn't green," I replied.
While the boys were working on that, April and I were still cleaning cuts when she asked me, "Kit, what exactly did happen?"
"That gigantic weed learned to duplicate itself and sent a decoy to throw Leo and Donnie off," I replied.
"What about you and Raph? Did you go after the other one?"
I looked down in embarrassment. "Well, uh..."
Raph came over and put a shaky but firm hand on my shoulder. "We got into a little vine problem ourselves, didn't we Kit?" He asked.
I gave a small smile and nodded. I reached up to my neck and massaged it. It still felt like the vines were grasping my neck and mouth.
Raph gave a small gasp and pushed my ponytail out of the way. "You have cut on you too! Hang on, I got this..."
He quickly went to work on bandaging up the tiny cuts on my neck and arms.
I sat unmoving through the process, sort of impressed by the reaction he had. It was kind of cute...
I glanced up at April to see her covering up a giggle.
"What's so funny?" I asked while tilting my head to the side.
She giggled again. "Oh, nothing."
I raised an eyebrow but let the subject drop. All of Donnie's wounds were now covered. But what about his breathing...
"Kitanna, all the green stuff is gone, but... We have another problem..." Leo stated frightened.
----------------------------------------------
*Leo's POV*
"What is it?" Kit asked, worry written on her face.
"He isn't breathing right..." I pointed out.
Kitanna listened to Donnie's heart beat and breathing. Raph and I were sitting by the door, worried beyond comprehension.
April was also there, waiting next to Kit. "Is he going to be okay?" She asked her.
She nodded. "He has a lot of access fumes in his system, which means his breathing will be slow but full. I'm surprised he lasted that long in the environment."
"Weren't you in there too?" I questioned.
"Yes, which just leads to another theory: the gas Donnie and I inhaled was most likely a poisonous one," She explained. "But Raph and I were not around the fumes as long as you and Donnie were."
"That's why Leo fainted after being enveloped in the fumes too," Raph added.
"Exactly," she concluded.
"So it all boils down to one question at all: will he be alright?" April asked.
"He will be alright, April, I promise," Kit vowed.
"But now we have a bigger problem," Raph stated in a shaky voice.
"What is that?" I asked.
Raph looked at me, his eyes wide with surprise. "...M-Mikey..." He shook as he replied.
My own eyes widened. In all the commotion with Donnie, I had forgotten that Mikey was still with Snake.
Or worse.
