*Shredder's POV*
I limped into the shadows of the night, my breaths heavy from the battle with... that thing.
I couldn't bare the shame crashing into me. I was weak. Not physically, emotionally. All the threats I had made were filled with emptiness. I hadn't meant a single one of them. I was blinded by my anger for Hamato Yoshi and his and my hate-filled past.
I leapt into a building top, falling flat on the roof with a thud. I had never missed sticking a landing. The pain from the inward and outward battle has drained me of my strength.
I stare at the stars in the sky, wondering if Tang Shen was watching. What did she think of me now? My hideous, disgusting face matched my black heart...
I snarled and slammed my fist down on the roof, causing the concrete to crack. I wasn't wrong in my actions. Hamato Yoshi deserves this.
But does Sakura..?
I shake my head and push myself up. She betrayed me... her own creator... her father... what did I do wrong? I had loved that child more than I promised myself I would, and Karai along with her. I was weak.
I am weak.
I should never have gone to those dastardly aliens for assistance. They were right; this child would and has caused me pain. If I hadn't been blinded by this rage, I wouldn't have created that...monster. The human anomaly.
I shook my head and growled again. I had to stop these thoughts. They would drive me off task and blind my focus even more.
I stood on trembling legs, all of my muscles were crying out in agony. I turned to face the wall of white smoke I had left my daughter in. My heart hammered hard in my chest as tears threatened to escape my eyes.
I whipped my head back around and trudged back towards my lair, my thoughts clouded by one question.
What have I done?

*Kitanna's POV*
"STOP!" I screamed repeatedly. "STOP, STOP!"
The sight before me was awful. No, dreadful. No... ever word thought imaginable for the word of horrid. The Beast had escaped this cage and I replaced it, trying desperately to unlock it.
Barbed wire lined titanium rods shooting up almost endlessly. An electrical barrier surrounded the ground right outside the bars. Three layers of chain link fence connected itself in front of, behind and around the bars.
How is had escaped such a well constructed structure, I will never know. But I had to find a way out. My friends were in trouble.
I beat the bars of the cage hard, earning myself some bloody knuckles. I outwardly screamed as I saw though the Beast's vision. It had just attacked Leo and Donnie, its large claws scraping the back of Leo's shell.
The monster growled and snarled as it's head shot around looking for its next victim. However, the ground began to shake, throwing me off balance for a moment. I looked up to see that Raph had attacked the monster.
