*Splinter's POV*
I had finished meditating and decided to see how my sons were doing.
I barely moved during my time of peace, but my thoughts were bouncing off the walls.
My daughter whom I thought was dead... Was alive? No wonder she looks so much like my lotus flower. The same eyes, the same smile...
Mostly.
I figured also that it was time we told Kitanna the truth. If she didn't know, she would never live the right life.
I got up and went into the living room.
But no one was there. There was no sound at all. I began to worry... With Michelangelo around, the lair was rarely ever quiet.
Then I heard low murmuring coming from Donatello's lab. I walked over, and what I saw shocked me.
Donatello was lying on the table, his breathing very light. Leonardo and Raphael were waiting for something while my daughter was checking him. April was there too, but there was no sign of Michelangelo.
Leonardo turned to see that I was standing there. "Sensei! We... Um..."
"Donatello is hurt badly, Master Splinter. And Michelangelo..." Kitanna/Yukiko's voice faded as she hung her head in defeat.
"Mikey was taken by Snakeweed," Raphael finished for her. "He was also working for the Shredder."
I felt my eyes grow wide. "Then I shall go and get him back," I stated surely.
I went to leave, but I was held back by something.
"Master Splinter, you cannot go, it's exactly what he wants," my daughter told me.
"You'd be walking right into a trap," Leonardo wrapped up.
"None of you are capable of facing Shredder yet, how else can we defeat him and get your brother back?" I asked, slightly annoyed.
"I think it would be smart to have someone stay here with Donnie while the rest of us go and see what their plan is exactly," Raphael stated.
"I agree with Raph," Leonardo replied.
"I will not allow my daughter to-!" I hauled mid-sentence when I realized my mistake.
Four of the five faces in the room were filled with fear and shock. Kitanna/Yukiko had a confused facial expression.
"Am I not reading this situation correctly?" She asked.
After a while if silence, I managed to quietly say, "My sons, April, please make sure Donatello stays well. Kitanna, if you will, please follow me."

*Karai's POV*
"We've looked through all her junk and we still haven't found that communicator!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"Calm down, princess buzz kill and keep searching! That communicator she stole has to be here somewhere!" Bradford retorted.
I growled. This was hopeless! That tracker I placed in that poisoned dart was supposed to lead us right to the communicator.
The communicator was the thing that started this whole problem. If she hadn't stole it in the first place, she wouldn't be helping the turtles, and then we would have already defeated them and moved on to finding her once more.
These thoughts fed my anger.
I kicked the science table sending beakers and tools flying. As luck had it, one beaker rolled right into an outlet and caught fire.
I rolled my eyes. "Great," was all I could say.
But the closer I looked, I realized a flash of purple through the flames.
I smirked to myself. "Gotcha."

*Kitanna's POV*
I sat in the turtle's dojo across from Master Splinter. He invited me in a few moments ago, but he remained silent.
I began to wonder what was happening when he spoke up:
"Kitanna, I have asked my sons and April to keep a secret from you. I have kept it, because I felt I needed more solid evidence that it was true. Donatello has found the evidence I needed, and I have decided it's time to tell you."
I looked at him, mixed emotions were welling up in me. Worry, excitement... But most of all I felt curiosity (Cat! What else did you expect?). All I could do was reply with a nod.
He sighed. "Does... Does the name Yukiko... Ring a bell?"
I closed my eyes and thought hard. A heating sensation tingled my forehead. I gave a small gasp as my eyes flared yellow and visions blurred my thoughts.
I was lying down in a... Cradle? There were people in white surrounding me...
They brought me out to a glass window... Two blurry figures approached the glass.
I heard a small whimper... It escaped from my mouth. I then heard muffled voices... It was the people outside the window. They were speaking in Japanese, but reflexively I translated it.
"...Yoshi, My friend, your daughter... She won't make it. Her premature birth... Well... Uh..."
Premature, yes, but who were these people? The vision clears the fuzziness and shows...
Hamato Yoshi? And... My mother?
Impossible! How-?! What-?!
Their faces became heavy, and my plump mother began to cry. Her stomach dropped a bit, which was still carrying my twin sister.
"May we see Yukiko one last time?" My... Father... Asked.
The man nodded and brought me out, handing me to my father, Hamato Yoshi.
He looked down at me and smiled. "You are Yukiko. A rare child indeed. No matter the future ahead, you will protect those who need it most..."
And the vision abruptly stops. I find myself laying on the floor of the dojo, a concerned Master Splinter hovering over me. Tears welled up in my eyes.
"I know that name... My birth name... But how-?" I looked him in the eyes. "How did you know?"
He smiled sadly and brought me two photographs. One was Hamato Yoshi... My father... And My mother holding a child that was not me. The other was...
"Where did you obtain these?" I asked confused.
He laughed lightly. "Well, that's obviously me, before this Yoshi, and... That's your mother... And, well... I don't want to talk about how you came to be, but you..." He took a breath and sighed it out. "You are my child, Yukiko."

*Splinter's POV*
I had told her. Finally! A huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders. But now came the hardest part: how she would take it.
"You... Are Hamato Yoshi... You married my mother... I-" She looked up at me and smiled, tears in her eyes. She sat up and hugged me tightly. "You are my father. My real father. I'm so glad you told me."
I smiled happily and hugged her back. Humorous thoughts filled my mind. My daughter has been mutated into a cat... I have been mutated into a rat. Those two things don't entirely mix together.
A noise pulled us away from our embrace. We quickly got up and ran to Donatello's laboratory.
