*Kitanna's POV*

Visions played in my head as I was unconscious. Three green figures standing above me, looking down with worry etched in their faces.

Next to them was my father, whom had anger in his eyes as tears formed.

'Don't cry,' I tried to call. 'Please, father, save Mikey...'

My birthmark burned on my skin and in my vision. The yin-yang was glowing brighter than it had before.

Just as it began, it faded to blackness.

My eyes burned and my body ached. I had scratches and bruises up and down my arms. I attempted to move, but no such luck doing so. Vines were still wrapped tightly around my body, plastering my arms to my torso.

It took me a moment to realize that my mouth had been covered by the thorn weeds too.

It took a while, but I managed to sit up. It was dark, but cat vision showed no signs of other items in this room other than me.

A few moments passed and nothing happened. I tried to remembered what caused me to end up in this dark room.

I remember calling out to Leo...

"Leo! Help Raphael! I'll be fine!"

He hesitated, but listened to what I had said. He went to help Raphael from being fried and bashed.

I used my foot to drag Leo's katana close and attempted to reach for it, but another weed whipped out and yanked my arm back.

"Gungh!" I cried half in pain half in shock.

I struggled and made no progress, the weeds pulling me back to who knows where. My vision became ensnared in darkness and thorns crept around my mouth and throat.

After that, I remembered nothing. I'm obviously alive, but for how much longer? Is the Shredder really without honor to allow one last battle?

I looked around. The walls were made of rotting old wood... I must have been deeper in the forest. The ground beneath me had spurts of grass sticking out of it. The ceiling had a few rotted planks showing the night sky.

If my life hadn't been in danger, I would say this was a beautiful scene.

The ground began to shake, pulling my attention back to reality. The roof of the room began violently vibrating. The ceiling had been lifted completely off the building.

A monstrous laugh caused the entire surrounding place to shake uncontrollably. The vines around my waist and mouth had began to tighten, constricting me.

"Ah, the female is finally awaken. Have a nice sleep, kitty cat?"

I tried to growl, but the vines around my mouth had muffled it.

The gigantic weed laughed again. "Shredder is waiting for you. It's time for a little family bonding, wouldn't you say?"

I felt my body being lifted up, bringing me closer to the mutant plant. He had lifted me up with his thorned vines, a few puncturing my skin.

I winced lightly at the pain. What did the Shredder have in mind of doing to me?

*Raph's POV*

My body had stopped jolting, but my heart rate had elevated with my thoughts.

"Where is she?! Is she alright?!" I asked, still lying on the ground.

"Take it easy Raph, we'll find her," Leo coaxed me.

"You mean she isn't here?!" I was really worried now. She could be in the hands of Shredder right now, or she could be choked by the vines and unable to breath! "We have to find her now!"

"Raph, we'll find her," Donnie echoed Leo.

I pushed myself up to my feet, ignoring the absolute pain my muscles were going through.

"Raphael, do not push yourself further than your body can handle," Sensei told me.

"I'm... Fine..." I coughed out. I looked over at Donnie, my eyes widening at what they saw.

"What?" Donnie asked.

Leo stood and noticed it too. "Uh, I'm no doctor, but I don't think your eyes are supposed to be green."

"My eyes?" Donnie blinked, causing green goo to slide down his cheek.

He wiped it off and looked at his hand. His face showed his shock. "What the-?"

As he went to finish his statement, the goo oozed out of his mouth. He began coughing nonstop and none of us knew what to do. Was he sick? It obviously wasn't normal...

"Donatello, are you alright?" Sensei asked, worried.

"Y-yeah," he replied. "I don't even-!" He coughed up more gunk. "Feel sick!"

We all stared at Donnie as he relieved himself of all the disgusting goo. Coughing out the last little spit of it, he took in a deep, shaky breath.

"I... I think that's all..." He mumbled.

"Well that was disgusting," I remarked.

"What happened to cause that?" Leo asked out loud.

Donnie put his head into his palm and closed his eyes to think. "When I was unconscious I could feel a weird substance entering my body. It was unusually heavy..."

"But how did it get in you?" Leo asked.

"Well, it tasted like leaves, grass and basically anything with chlorophyll, so it must have been Snake," Donnie explained.

So this explains the situation earlier: Donnie did feel a little more thick than usual, but I thought it was because he was out cold, not because there was green crud flowing through him.

"Do you feel well, Donatello?" Sensei asked.

"I felt fine, and I feel fine, Sensei. It's just some-!" He coughed up another glob of goo. "Plant juice," he squeaked out.

"Does it hurt?"

"No, just feels odd," Donnie replied.

"Alright. Then we we need to go and find Yukiko. Where was the last place you saw her?" Sensei's voice was filled with worry, even though he tried to cover it up with his calm collected behavior.

"The last time I saw her, she was knocked off the side of the wall of vines," Leo explained. "I don't remember seeing her after that."

"Hmm..." Sensei put his chin in his palm. He glanced around and rested his eyes on an object.

He scurried over to it and picked it up.

It was a piece of black armor. She was dragged away from us.

Why couldn't I have helped?! Why was I so weak?! I should have ripped those vines off me and helped her! And now who knows what happened to her?!

Leo rested a hand on my shoulder. "Raph, we'll find her. It's nobody's fault, and you know she would tell you that too."

I looked up at him and nodded. But worry was still etched into my mind. Mikey was who knows where and Kitanna was in the same situation.

What were we going to do?
