"And who is this Kakashi?" Hitoto stepped forward.
"Hiroto Shuyo."
He smiled "Kakashi, report directly to me after you locate Gai and bring him with you this time."
Kakashi opened his mouth to speak only to snap it shut when he noticed the Hokage's just do as I ask look. "Hai" Kakashi grumbled with a bow before walking out the door.

"My name is Hiruzen Sarutobi, Now we're we?" The old man sent Hiroto a kind smile. 'Fake smile.' He noted. Said male didn't miss the calculated look that flashed in the old man's eyes. 'He's a good actor.' Even though Hiroto knew he had no reason to lie in the first place, the feeling that he just had to be honest with this man stayed floating somewhere in the back of his mind. Especially since any remotely smart person should be able to spot a lie.

"Before we start with the interrogation, I have a question." The third nodded his head. "Would it be alright if I stayed here for a while?" Hiroto stuffed his hands in his pants pocket and watched the old man's for any sort of reaction. 'I don't want to go back.'

Hiru-sama looked slightly surprised, but went back to his kind & wised wrinkled smile. 'A real smile.' He noted along with the knowing look in the elder's eyes. "Only if you can tell me what you were doing before you came here?" Hiroto answered easily. "I work at a boxing arena. Well maybe not anymore, but that's not the point. Anyways, we we're on some kind of tour and last time I checked I wasn't scheduled to fight this mouth." He traded his frown in for a nervous smile. "Nothing really goes as planned because as you can see, I fought." Then the Shuyo clicked his mouth shut when he realized he was borderline rambling. He hated how his ears started to burn and he internally cursed the embarrassment away.

The old man gave a curt nod, though his eyes showed he wanted to laugh a little. "Tell you what, I'll let you stay here if you become a shinobi for Konohagakure and pledge to help and protect the citizens of the Leaf. It's either that or I arrest you." His trained hears picking up a sharp intake of breath so he paused. "I hear you're pretty famous at your line of work." He noticed the younger one in the room eyebrows scrunch up in confusion. "You did know that underground fighting is illegal by both civilian and shinobi laws correct?" He added, just now noticing how oblivious the poor kid was about everything.

Hiroto blanched. 'After all this time and this isn't even the first lie you've told me. When we're you going to start telling me the truth Jon?' Hiroto bowed politely. "I accept your first offer lord Hokage." The leader of the leaf village took a couple puffs from his pipe before responding. "Excellent choice my boy; and with your experience in fighting, I believe a ninja career would be better suited for you than a civilian one."
'He's got a point there.' Hiroto agreed but knowing that he didn't actually have a choice in the matter.
The tapping of a pen took his thought elsewhere. 'Wait a sec, I don't know the first thing about the Shinobi lifestyle and I don't want to spend my time time learning about it either.' Hiroto frowned at the thought. "Is there anywhere where I could learn more about the Shinobi lifestyle?" The almost adult asked. The Hokage chuckled softly nodding his head. "Yes, there is a library, but despite being older than most ninja newbies you're required to graduate from a Shinobi academy. When you graduate you'll start out as a Genin, then move to Chunin, onward to Jounin and so on." Hiroto made a noise of dislike but nodded his head in understanding anyways.

"Now if you step up to my desk I have some documents you need to fill out." The third took out some forms from his desk and an ink brush. "Tomorrow afternoon, I want you to report back to my office."

The old man stood up and walked through a door that was connected to his office before walking back into the room. Keys, a wad of cash, and a folded piece of paper in his hands. "Here is a map of the village and your first allowance. I would buy some new clothes before anything else. The ones your wearing are a mess." I looked down at my wrinkled jersey with a grimace. "Yea, I know."
The third jingled a pair of keys before dropping them in Hiroto's open palm, along with the map and the wallet in the other. "Those are the keys for your apartment." I handed him the paper work in exchange. "you're now an official citizen of Konohagakure." The Shuyo stuffed everything in his pants pockets.
