"I'm not a little kid anymore!" Hiroto flinched watching as Naruto pointed an accusing finger at the Hokage. "Gosh your just like my gandpa!" He turned away from the third, his lips pulled into a pout. Team seven watched Naruto from his spot on the floor in embarrassment. 'He's acting like a spoiled brat, which is the exact opposite of how he should act if he wanted to be treated with respect.' Hiroto thought bitterly. Kakashi sighed thinking about the consequences he was probably going to pay for his students actions.

"Naruto." Said whiskered boy turned to his best friend with a scowl. "Stop acting like a spoiled brat." The younger one's scowl lifted into a frown. "Maybe if you didn't throw a tantrum like Hiru-Sama's grandson, we would be onto the higher ranked missions by now." He almost rolled his eyes. 'My otōto can be an absolute idiot sometimes.'

Team seven turned towards the sound of a chuckle. "So, Naruto wants to prove he's not a brat, but a former brat?" Everyone in the room eyed the Hokage with curiosity. "What's you're opinion on C-rank missions Hiroto-kun?"

Said ninja immediately straightened up. "This rag tag group of children?" Naruto scrambled to his feet and straightened up along with the other members of his team in am attempt to be appear more grownup. "Well the success rate of a C-rank mission with the kids is no more or less then forty percent; without? 97%. My personal opinion is that a C-rank will either drive this team apart or bring it closer together, given that team seven has shown little to no teamwork since the very beginning. ." While Kakashi agreed with Hitoto on the outside, on the inside he was wondering why the jounin's normal voice held a stronger tone than usual whenever be spoke just then; and the more the scarecrow thought of the Shuyo, the more he realized that he didn't know much about him, so Kakashi made a mental note to learn more about his teammate. Naruto was on the same page as his sensei.
"On what grounds do you make your claim?" The Hokage asked berating himself for not considering their current teamwork since he was too focused on what Naruto wanted than what he needed. "The evidence I use to back up my claims can be seen in all of team seven's mission past reports." Hiroto looked through the window where he spotted of two green dots running across the rooftops. "Although I will state that a B-rank mission would give the team the reality check they really need; but since it is not the safest option, a C-rank mission would be the wisest decision for them." The third shuffled through some papers. He didn't try to hide the proud smile that bloomed on his face. "Very well, it appears we have a simple C-rank mission that team seven could do. It's an escort mission." At that the air of profession in the room disappeared as Hiroto relaxed his posture back into his usual laziness.

The Shuyo sent Kakashi a look when the older ninja accepted the mission without hearing what it was first. 'He must be getting tired of D-rank missions too.'

Naruto broke that train of thought. "Ooh! Ohh! Is it a princess?! A mayor?!" There we're stars in his eyes. "Come-on?! Who is it?! An important council member?!" Sakura bonked him on the head and told him to shut up. "I highly doubt we'll be guarding anybody important at our level so it's probably a civilian or something." Sakura nodded. "Hiroto-sama's right Naruto. Right Sasuke-kun?" Said prince could only roll his eyes and look away.

"Why don't you take a look for yourself Naruto. Come in Tazuna!" After the professor said the clients name, Naruto and Sakura spun around to face the door in anticipation. The rest of team seven followed their lead, but with less excitement.
