Naruto and Hiroto hung out a lot after they first met. Hiroto introduced Naruto to his world of puns, sarcasm, and witty remarks while Naruto's introduced Hiroto to his world of pranks.
After a couple mouths of being around each other they declared themselves brothers. In fact they were so close that the Hokage felt like it was safe to tell Hiroto about Naruto's Jinjuriki status. Of course Naruto was with the last Shuyo when the older boy found out since the youth already knew by then. Naruto's Jinjuriki status never wavered their relationship. The two boys sat down the same day and talked. They had a very emotional conversation. They talked about how the villagers treated Naruto and how that made him feel and stuff like that. It was the first time Hiroto saw Naruto cry and it brought them closer together as family. The never really talked about it again though, but now Naruto feels comfortable enough to seek comfort from Hiroto which shows how much the Jinjuriki sincerely trusts Hiroto.

Next up is Hiroto and Kakashi. These two talked on occasion after they first met, but spent most of their time together just walking around the village in silence.
About a half a year after meeting each other, Kakashi went to visit his (ex-)teammates' graves alone. Hiroto just happened to be walking by after a long day of training. Kakashi knew he was there but he chose not to say anything. Hiroto silently sat by Hatake, pulled the man into a hug and didn't let go. Hiroto silently comforted the shinobi when he started crying into his chest and when Kakashi had finally calmed down Hiroto had Kakashi talk about his time with Obito, Rin and Minato. The conversations went from laughing at the happy times Kakashi had with his teammates to utter silence as Kakashi went through their last mission. Hiroto and Kakashi became really close friends after of that day.

After graduating from the academy Hiroto worked at the tower as the Hokage's assistant/secretary. He also helped out everybody working there on the side so he rarely had a day off.
After a year and a half of working at the tower and spending any spare time he had with either Naruto or Kakashi, the Hokage called him in for testing. Hiroto has kept a Jounin vest folded neatly in his closet since then.

Now despite what you would think, Hiroto hasn't told anyone about himself or his life before Konoha; but if anybody bothered to ask him about it, He would tell them, but nobody has so far. well except for the hokage and ibiki during an interrogation but I don't think that counts exactly..
