I've been running around for three days now because I just had to get myself lost shortly after I retrieved my mission objective. Again.

I stopped short at one of the high tree branches when I felt a group of chakra signatures not far behind me. "I wonder why are they headed to Konoha?" I pondered aloud. I stayed put in the tree branch and waited so I could watch them as they passed by.
They felt to be on at least a genin level, but they were running way faster than any genin I know. That meant they concealing their chakra, but why? "They better have a good reason to conceal that much chakra or else I'm gonna lose it."
I jumped to a lower in the same tree to get a better look. 'A group of Suna nin? Are we holding sone kind of alliance festival or something?' I concealed my own chakra while I was at it.
"I'm not here at the moment, please leave a message after the beep. Beep." I giggled to myself, but immediately stopped when I saw that some of the ninja had stopped and looked up. I quickly covered my mouth and cursed myself ability to say everything on my mind to the ends of the earth.
"Go on." A hella cute red head commanded, leaving the rest to obey the two that were the closest to him: a female with blonde hair parted in four ponytails, and a male in a black puppeteer suit with cat ears. He also had purple lines drawn all over his face. 'He must take a lot of time to get ready..' I couldn't help but imagine him holding up the bathroom to do his make up. I had to stop myself from laughing at the image.
As the rest ran further away to Konoha, I glanced down after hearing a low growl from the red head. He was looking directly where I was. The growl he made sounds almost like a warning but considering I've never been one to listen to warnings I just growled back. It sounded completely natural, which if I'm gonna be completely honest with myself, kinda scared me. "Heh, I always knew I was part woof." I laughed at myself.

I saw his eyes grow a centimeter wide when I started swinging around some branches below my hiding spot while unsealing my chakra in the process. "I realise I'm not part animal like you, but really? Why are you so surprised?" I joked so he would know that I didn't mean any harm. His pretty teal eyes widened when I tried to walk closer to him, he took a step back. So me being little old me stopped and did my infamous head tilt of curiosity.
"Don't." His tone of voice matched his heated glare.
'What the fuck man? Here I am just trying to be friendly and he's acting like I killed his mother. Now that I think about it there's a possibility that I could have, but I've never seen anyone like him before so I might not have.' I couldn't help but sweatdrop at my own thoughts. 'C'mon Hiroto, Focus on Panda-chan.'
"And what if I do?" I pondered even more curious to his guarded behavior, taking a step closer "You'll die" He stated blandly "Challenge accepted." I inquired with a raised eyebrow. 'Does this kid have some kind of mental issue or what? It's like he's waiting for someone to kill me, but there's only us two as far as I'm concerned.'
I took a couple steps closer while he stood in the same spot, arms crossed and glaring at the ground in deep thought
"Why isn't mother doing anything? Most people would be dead by now." He whispered the first part to himself, and I wondered who his mother was but I didn't bother to ask. The question is a little too personal to be asking a stranger.
"Why's that?" I gave a smile as he looked up. He didn't speak for a minute so I just continued talking. "You're kawaii." I complimented stopping an arms length distance. "You remind me of a baby panda." Cue eye smile. His eyes went wide and a light blush appeared.  "Aww see?! you're adorable." I cooed getting really close to his face and poking at his cheek. I let out a small laugh at his demise when he swatted my hand away.
"Your... strange." He eyed me weirdly as he spoke. I just shrugged and put my hands behind my head. "So I've been told, but who cares? Most, if not all of the best shinobi are a little strange."

After we finally made it to the entrance gate Mr. red-head gave his pass to the guards so he could enter. I guessed the others already got in.
Before I could walk though the gate one of the guards decided to grab my arm. "Hey Hiroto?" Kotetsu asked. "Do you know him?" He pointed to the sand man "Personally? No. I met him like half an hour ago man, but I fail to see why that matters." He shrugged glancing at his partner. "It doesn't. I was just curious." I nodded in understanding since I was indeed acting a little buddy buddy with him not even a second ago.
"Right, so can I go now or what?" Izumo nodded his head yes and let me through the gates.

"I'm back my lord." I smiled entering through the door. "Shuyo my boy. Did you finally complete your mission?" He held his hand out so I placed the scroll I got in his open palm. "The mission was a complete success." The eldest Sarutobi nodded. "That's good. Anyways have you met Gaara of the dessert." I smiled. "Hai Hokage -sama." I returned Gaara's bow. "It's nice to see you again Panda-chan." I glanced between the both of them in question. "My apologies lord third, I didn't realize I had interrupted your meeting." Gaara turned his attention to the Hokage. "Do not worry Hiroto-sama, I was just leaving."

The Hokage sighed after Gaara had left. "So are we holding a festival or something?" I tilted my head slightly stopping in front of his desk. "Not exactly, we're holding the Chunin Exams this year." I nodded. "Am I participating?" He nodded. "Of course not. You'll only be guiding the participants to the second exam and the six days afterwards." He blew the smoke from his pipe with a teasing smile. "Damn, and to think I could of schedule a visit to kumogakature for a month or two." I joked. "Maybe another time Hiroto, another time." I beamed at the future promise to sleep in.
He handed me a a stack of papers with a sigh. "Take these to Saaki." I took the stack with a bow. "You got it Hiruzen-sama."

On the way home I stopped behind a fence fighting off a groan. "What kinda trouble did they get into this time?" I fought off a groan as I peeked around the fence again. Sakura and Naruto yelling at a very odd, but very familiar duo. I decide to make my presence known by walking up to the group. "Hiroto-sama!" Sakura the cherry bomb screamed in surprise. She has a way with torturing the eardrums.
"Hiroto-sama?" The familiar face was somehow able to turn his head while being held in the makeup-dudes fist. "Konohamaru?" My smile dropped. 'Is a Suna genin seriously holding the old man's grandson hostage? Geez this situation is so-'
"Troublesome." I finished the thoughts aloud just as Sasuke decided to nail him in the face with a chakra infused pebble causing Kankuro to release Konohamaru. "Welcome to the party Sasuke." Konohamaru ran over to Naruto, Sakura and two other kids his age.

I turned my attention to Sasuke, but a small tornado of sand near him caught my eye. "Panda-chan?" I ran up the tree successfully, ignoring the look of recognition and a little fear as I approached him. He gave a curt nod as Sasuke flipped down from the tree to get away from us. "Hello Hiroto-sama." He acknowledged me still looking down at his shaking comrades. I gave him a side hug in return; trying to ignore the way he stiffened slightly, definitely uncomfortable with the close contact. 'Judging from his siblings reactions no one has been able to get this close to Gaara before. He must be lonely if that's the case.' I frowned slightly. 'Hopefully my friendship helps.' I let him go and dropped down from the tree then stood near the group of Konoha nin while Gaara transported to his teammates. "Let's go." He basically ordered his siblings. Gaara turned around and began walking away with his little followers.
"Hold it!" Sakura piped up causing Gaara-Kun and the rest to stop "Judging from your headbands your from Sunagakure." I didn't resist the urge to say, "Nah dip Sherlock." as she pointed an accusing finger at the three. I just shook my head when I noticed that her confidence was wavering a little in her speech. "Although Sunagakure is in an alliance with our village, it's illegal to enter without permission." She looked so sure of herself as she crossed her arms against her flat chest. "Do you live under a rock or something kid?" The sand blondie smirked while waved her forms for all of us to see. "We're here for the chunin exams."

After explaining what the exams were to team seven with the help of the naruto's minions the trio started walking away again, but this time (surprisingly) Sasuke stopped them. "What's your name?" He said looking straight at Gaara, but the fan-girl (A/N: Get it? bc she uses fans as a weapon? Haha. I'm funny.) turned around "Me?" She pointed to her self bushing. I literally heard the sound of my face-palm right there. "No, you. With the gourd on your back." Sasuke stated glaring at Gaara. I gave him a are you serious look. "Dude, his names been said like five times already. It's Gaara." I gave Sasuke a pointed look with one brow raised to which he ignored completely.
"Gaara of the dessert," The red panda paused for a moment. "and you are?" Gaara glared right back. "Sasuke Uchiha." Said baka smirked with pride. "Wait! What about me?!" Naruto yelled. "Don't you want to know my name?!" He pointed an accusing finger at Gaara. I shook my head sadly. 'Poor lil bro, he just wants is to feel wanted.' "You're of no interest to me." Gaara stated simply and then the trio were finally able to walk away.
Naruto went and sulked near the trio of grade schoolers. "Konohagakure?" Said child nodded, trying to comfort Naruto. "Yeah boss?!" Naruto pointed his finger in mine and Sasuke direction "I'm way cooler than Sasuke right?" He looked up to the kid chibi-crying "No way boss! He's like super-duper cool!" Konohagakure yelled in Naruto ear with way too much excitement.

"You guys should be getting your forms from Kakashi by the end of the day." I told Sakura and Sasuke choosing to ignore Naruto and the smaller one's pity party.
