After we walked about a mile or two away from civilization me and the gang entered a small clearing. It wasn't too far into the forest that'd we'd get lost on the way back, but it was far enough that we wouldn't attract civilian attention.
"Use these to mark your progress as you climb up the tree." Kaka-Sensei threw three kunai in front of the genin.
"So, we're climbing trees?" Naruto shrugged not really getting the point. Kakashi chuckled. My teammates look at him strangely. "Technically yes, but with no hands." To set an example he walked over too Naruto's appointed tree. "Like this." Then he walked his ass up the tree trunk. His crutches thumped to a stop along the bottom of the lowest branch. "That's so cool man! Believe it!!" Naruto shouted excitedly while all three of them grabbed their throwing stars and stood before their designated trees. "I would suggest you run up the tree for momentum." Kakashi advises with a closed eye smile. I caught the support sticks he dropped before he flipped off the tree. I deadpanned at our Sensei. "What's the point in having momentum if you don't have control?" I asked the cyclops who had used my shoulder to steady himself. "They'll figure it out." I couldn't help but roll my eyes and let out a dramatic huff. "whatever you say man." The rest of my comrades ran back, so me and our leader walked away.

As their footsteps drew closer to their targets I noticed a huge difference in their chakra. "Sakura will make it, but the other two will end up hurting themselves." I observed quietly. Kakashi nodded. "The boys have more chakra to control than Sakura does, so it makes since." I rose an eyebrow turning to face the scarecrow.  "Well telling someone when they're repeatedly making the same mistakes helps a lot too you know?" I smacked him on the back of the head. "Honestly Kakashi, they'll be doing the one chakra exercise for the rest of the week at this rate." Kakashi sighed. "Not everyone is as smart as you are Hiroto. I could tell them what they're doing wrong all day, but Naruto and Sasuke are more likely to get it better by doing it themselves." I couldn't help but disagree. "Right, because that id definitely not like they've been doing most of their lives. You and I both know that's a load of bullshit." With that said I walked over to the kiddos putting on a smile.
"Hey team, how we doing so far?" Sakura beamed in pride. "I finished Hiroto-sama!" I recognized the new formality and almost cringed. 'Not again.. uhh good job Sakura, Go talk to Kakashi and see what your next assignment is." She nodded and ran off. "Hiroto! Did you see that!" I nodded. Naruto had backflipped off of the tree from pretty high up and landed on his feet. "It wasn't that great Dobe." Naruto turned around with a scowl set on his face. "What'd you say Sasuke?!"
"I said it wasn't that great dobe. You got cotton in your ears or what?"
"Fight me!"
"Hell no! Why would I want to fight a deadlast like you?!"
"Jerk!"
"Idiot."
"Prick!"
"Dunce."
"Duckbutt!"
"Really?!"
"Okay that's enough you two!" I stepped in between there bikering and pushed them away from each other's faces. "I actually came over here to help you guys."
"I don't need your help."
"I'm sure you don't princess, but you're gonna get it anyways."
Sasuke rolled his eyes but stayed put none the less. Naruto waited, always eager for any kind of advice that could help him be the next Hokage. "The key here is balance. Don't use so much chakra," I advised Sasuke to which he nodded thoughtfully. "and, don't use so little chakra." I continue turning to Naruto. "Focus until the practice becomes second nature." Sasuke let out a noise of understanding, but still asked, "Why should we listen to you?" I simply side-glanced at the Uchiha prince in response. "Maybe because I know what I'm talking about." I knew they couldn't argue with that since they've both seen my chakra control firsthand, so the two nodded and got to work.

"Whelp, my work here is done. Later losers." I turned to Kakashi and Sakura (who was up in her tree) with a wave goodbye.

Before I could walk away Kakashi's voice stopped me. "We still need to talk, but you can go train on something else for now." I shrugged my shoulders and walked past the two idiots getting up off the ground venturing deeper into the forest. "Good luck Hiro-Sama!"

one week later..
I stopped at a another clearing a mile ahead from where the rest of the team trained for the past week.
They had all gone to help build the bridge and I was to meet up with them later. 'Kakashi said that as long as his partner wasn't after the bridge builder what I did was considered okay, but it's never okay to leave behind any loose ends.' I sighed thinking. "A week is more than enough time to heal from the death like state I put the poor kid in. Well okay, so two weeks would be logical if I considered how much oxygen he had with the panic attack.' I sweat-dropped at my thoughts as they traveled elsewhere.
'If the ninja does show up today I'll stick to the shadows.' I thought sitting down on the grass to meditate.

2 hours later... Press Play 🎶
I opened my eyes and looked around. 'I guess I could sing or something since no one's around.' I shrugged my shoulders not really finding a reason against the idea. So I stood up and decided to walk around a bit just as a song decided to pop into my head.
