Remember when I said that the new person hype would die down soon enough? Well it has been a few days and it still seems as though everyone around [ Y/N ] were infatuated by them no matter the small thing. Literally doing the bare minimum could get all their classmates quiet appraisal. Even Teruhashi had ended up fooling themselves into liking them a bit just a day ago during the Café date.
But continuing on, we now stop at [ Y/N ] trying their best to focus on the lesson at hand while barely keeping their eyes open. However there was one reason why they were awake, and it wasn't for the lesson. 'Why do I feel like I'm being stared at—?? Is it that shitty paranoia I have or am I actually correct for once..-'
[ Y/N ] slowly turned their head around slightly to see multiple people intensely gazing at them back. They sweat dropped and quickly whipped their head back around to look down at their desk. They proceeded to try and calm themselves down by furiously scribbling random stuff down on their paper while pretending to remain oblivious to it all.
Basically, whatever [ Y/N ] did, it appeared much more glorified in others eyes. Writing down stupid jokes? It was taken as immense studying in the topic at hand. Talking to literally anyone about something simple? An absolute blessed week for that person. Reading a textbook? How everyone prayed to hear them volunteer to speak for the next paragraph within.
Just a case of idiots falling for a specific idiot. But it'll surely disappear soon. Especially since nobody could compare to Teruhashi herself. Well, that would be the case if Teruhashi hadn't also tricked themselves into growing an interest for [ Y/N ] as well after the Café date. However she's much more stubborn with her feelings and claims it as 'bonding' instead.
