[5 Years ago at the beach]
Person: Y'know the water in the ocean could use more waves, I wanna go surfing

Person: I thought only the madrigal family had gifts
[You clear your throat]
Y/N: Like I said, I could help with your little dilemma
[Your eyes glow blue then you raise your hands in the air and out of nowhere big waves appear in the water]
Person: Woah that's incredible, Thanks kid
Y/N: No problem, Having a gift is sweet
[Present Day, You are now 16 years old, You mainly go around the Encanto helping the people fill water reservoirs and help turn water mills]
Everyone: Muchos Gracias, Y/N
Y/N: No problem, Just happy I could help
[You then see your childhood friend, Mirabel Madrigal]
Y/N: [Gasp] Mirabel
[You run up and hug her, she blushes]
Y/N: It's so great to see you
Mirabel: Hi Y/N, What brings you out and about
Y/N: Just helping out the town, I tell ya it's incredible having a gift, and for you it must be incredible coming from a family where everyone has a gift
Mirabel: Well, Yeah
[Mirabel looks down at the ground sadly]
Y/N: Mirabel, Look, I know you didn't get a gift but, just remember even if you don't have a gift, you can still do amazing things
Mirabel: Thanks Y/N
[Mirabel hugs You]
Y/N: Um, Well I better get home now, see ya later Mirabel
[You walk home]
[Later that night, You're curranty getting in bed]
Y/N: Can't wait to do more good, [Yawn] With my gift, Tommarow
[You drift off to sleep]
[The next day
[You get up and stretch, You then go to the bathroom and grab your toothbrush, You then try to manipulate the water to come out of the faucet, but it didn't work, you try again but nothing, you then try a third time but once again, nothing]
Y/N: AHHHHHHH!!!!!
[You then rush downstairs to your parents]
Y/N: Mom, Dad, I lost my gift!!
M/N: What?
Y/N: Well I was using my gift to help people and get ready for bed yesterday, but now it's gone
[snaps fingers]
Y/N: Like that
D/N: [Sigh] Son, Come with me
[You follow your dad into the basement, were a candle stood on an old shelf, the same one Abuela Alma has ]
Y/N: What is it?
D/N: the candle that kept this family's power going, It must of ran out
Y/N: How did you get this, I though Mirabel's grandmother was the only one who had a candle like this
D/N: You mean, The Madrigal Girl?
Y/N: Mmm-Hmm
D/N: When I was young, Miss Alma gave me a piece of the candle, in hope that I too would have offspring with extraordinary powers, or as you call them gifts, and now it seems that's inevitable
Y/N: But what am I suppose to do
D/N: Just go out, I'm sure people won't care if you have a gift or not
[You inhale then exhale]
[Cut to the town in the Encanto]
Lady: Hey Y/N, Wanna help me with my water mill?
Y/N: Uh, can't right now
Man: Hey kiddo, we need the reservoir filled
Y/N: Um, I'm sure someone else will fill it
[You walk faster then you bump into someone]
Y/N: Look what ever it is, I don't have time to-
[You look to see that someone is refused to be Mirabel]
Y/N: Oh, Hey Mirabel
Mirabel: Y/N, How are you doing,
Y/N: Uh well, not so good
Mirabel: Huh, Why?
[You whisper in Mirabel's ear, when you were done Mirabel was shocked]
Mirabel: What do you mean you lost your gift
[You put your finger up to Mirabel's mouth]
Y/N: Shh
[You grab Mirabel's hand and drag her behind an ally]
Y/N: Okay yes I lost my gift, but I don't know how to help people without it, I feel so helpless
Mirabel: Well, Maybe I could help you on what the upsides are on not having a gift
Y/N: Y-You'd do that for me?
Mirabel: Sure what are friends for right?
Y/N: Okay, Lead the way then
[Mirabel grabs you hand and drags you through the Encanto]
Mirabel: Okay, here's something you can do without gifts, helping people across the street
Y/N: Pfft, Easy
[You see an old lady]
Y/N: Hello Ma'am, might I be of any assistance of helping you cross the street?
Woman: Oh, What a kind young man you are, thank you
[Mirabel gives you a thumbs up]
[You help the old woman to the other side of the road]
Mirabel: Y/N, That was incredible
Y/N: Really?
[Mirabel nods her head]
Y/N: Then maybe not having a gift isn't such a bad thing after all, I wonder what more stuff I can do to help people
[You and Mirabel go around the Encanto helping random people with, mowing their lawn, helping people across the street, and helping people with their groceries, by the time you two were done it was already sunset, You walk Mirabel back home]
Mirabel: So?
Y/N: Hmm?
Mirabel: What do you think
Y/N: Well, I did show some potential when I had my gift, but maybe now I can show even more now that I don't have my gift
[You hold both Mirabel's hands]
Y/N: Thanks Mirabel
[You passionately kiss Mirabel on the lips, as you do she blushes, then she closes her eyes and embraces the kiss, hugging you while doing so, you two then stop kissing]
Mirabel: W-W-Well, I better get inside, so um, See you around Y/N, and good luck helping out people
[Mirabel winks at you then goes inside Casita, You start to walk home]
