"That's it! I'm done!" Dahyun yells as she rejects the shot of soju that Jeongyeon is handing out to her.
The girls are currently having a bonfire at the backyard of the cabin. It is now past midnight. There are fairy lights hanging all over the place. They also arranged a table at the nearby patio where they grilled the meat earlier and had for dinner.
The council treasurer has been distributing the alcohol shots while everyone chit chats on some random topics around. They have chips and marshmallows as snacks.
"I didn't know your alcohol tolerance could be that low!" Jeongyeon tries to taunt their secretary.
Mina promptly cuts in, "Jeongyeon, safety first! Our driver can be excused."
Dahyun sticks her tongue out to tease the defeated treasurer.
"Okay, okay. Then, this next shot should be for..." Jeongyeon looks around to recall the order of the people who she is handing the glass to.
"ME! ME!" Nayeon exclaims in an energetic and joyful tone while raising her hand.
"Nope. You're also done." The council treasurer quickly turns her down.
"BUT, BABE—"
"Im Nayeon." Jeongyeon glares at her girlfriend. "I don't want to see you vomiting all over the place."
"Yes, ma'am." Nayeon sheepishly complies. She is visibly reddish already from the alcohol.
The girls just laid some picnic mats on the yard's grass to sit on. Nayeon is sharing one with Jeongyeon, Mina is in another mat with Dahyun and Chaeyoung, while Tzuyu is soloing the last one.
"Im Nayeon?" the council president asks in wonder.
"PRESENT!" The soccer manager raises her hand like answering a roll call at the start of the class.
"Ah— I mean, I know you as Chou Nayeon. So is Im your surname before?" Mina elaborates.
"Ahh. That's right." Tzuyu answers for her sister who is currently staring at the night sky, still trying to comprehend the question that the council president asked. "When my father and Nayeon Unnie's mother remarried, she had her surname changed together with mom."
"Me and that bunny go way back in High School. When I met her, she was still Im Nayeon and she and Tzuyu aren't even sisters yet." Jeongyeon adds.
"She sometimes calls me Im Nayeon to let me know she's serious." Nayeon finally tries to answer.
Mina sweetly laughs at it while Jeongyeon just rolled her eyes.
"Pres, you really don't drink?" Dahyun starts.
Jeongyeon tries to hand the shot glass to Mina. "Come on, Pres. Just one—"
Chaeyoung snatches the alcohol and hastily drinks it, not letting the treasurer finish her elicitation. "If she doesn't want to drink, don't pressure her."
"OOOH." The other girls react in unison.
"Someone's trying to act cool!" Jeongyeon comments while nudging the soccer player a bit.
Chaeyoung simply scoffs at them.
Tzuyu then stands up. "I'm going upstairs to check if Sana's awake."
Everyone just nodded to her in response.
Sana ate dinner with the group earlier but begged to get off and have some sleep right after. The vice president was still feeling tired from the drama she had gone through with the brown sugar incident.
