humans are this big clump
big mess of personalities, traits, gifts, beliefs.
we all have our own complex lives,
family units,
or lack of one
friends
or none
traditions
culture
education
this massive web of webs
but we all have some core traits
mixed in too make us feel loved
understood and accepted
i wonder how we look to god
what they thought when creating us
what they think now
of our blatant ignorance
misunderstanding of purpose
capitalism has really fuck us all over
money, fame,
what we should be doing
who we should be
and who we should be associated with
maybe they're disappointed in us
maybe embarrassed
in the meeting of sky genies
to update them on us
"well my creation has cost us a planet
they've melted the ecosystem
crushed their oxygen source
killed each other and their young
they're developing weapons to destroy Earth
with one click of a button"
maybe they're creating a time machine
they plan to alter our programming
add some respect and listening to others
take some greed, ego.
i bet god thought they had the perfect ratio
showed us off like dragons den
"i present- the human. earths caretakers."
but now looking back
they realise their flaws.
maybe they really love and care for us
or maybe they drugged us with optimism
to numb us from the broken world
we've been given to look after
either the sky gene leader hates god
or gave us the short end of the stick
or just adores
watching earth burn
and watching us burn along with it
