I ran across Jujutsu Tech's training field almost crying with laughter as he chased after me. My skirt was flailing in the wind and I went as fast as my feet could carry me, but I was no match for him. He caught up and grabbed me from behind, his arms encircling my waist fully as I leaned back into his chest still shaking with laughter.
"Let me go, I have to tell Geto!" I panted through exhaustive laughter.
"You can't, he'll never let me live it down!" Satoru replied, still trying to restrain me in his grasp.
I managed to drop out of his grip to the floor and began running away once again, but I didn't get very far. He tackled me to the ground once I reached the nearest cherry blossom tree and as I tried to push him off me he held my wrists tight against his chest.
We were both an utter mess, him on top of me gripping my hands and me out of breath from laughter underneath him. We were so happy.
"Are you going to stop running now?" He asked me, raising a single eyebrow.
"Possibly..." I responded, copying his facial expression.
He rolled off me to the side and we both stared up at the sky. It was an almost completely clear day, with only a few wisps of cloud to be seen. The Sakura tree offered some much needed shade and we watched the pink adorned branches sway in the breeze.
I felt his hand embrace mine between us. Things had been difficult, two of the most powerful families who didn't get along were not too happy to see their children together, so we had to keep everything a secret. Only Shoko and Geto knew, and even then, we didn't put any formal labels on our relationship. We were just kids.
But it felt like more than that. It felt like more than a childhood romance, it felt like... true love. And I know for a fact he felt it too. Satoru looked over at me, turning his body on its side to face me fully. I did the same thing and a sole sakura petal fell onto my nose which once again sent us into fits of laughter.
"You know I'd never let anything get in between us, right?" He said softly.
"Of course, I'd do the same." I replied.
He rolled onto his back to face the sky once again, but I stayed on my side observing him. He wore no bandages on his eyes today. He had to wear them more often recently, but he knew I liked being able to see his eyes so took them off when we were together. He was so considerate, that's another thing I loved about him.
His untainted, white hair fluttered in the morning breeze and his cerulean eyes were something I could always get lost in. He was unmatched, both in power and beauty. I was broken out of my trance by footsteps and I looked over Satoru's body to see Geto and Shoko approaching.
Satoru looked at them too and he turned back to face me, giving me a wary glare.
"Don't. You. Dare." He warned, but it was too late. I was really bolting in their direction with Gojo running behind.
He caught me right as I reached them, grabbing me by the waist with one hand over my mouth to stop me from speaking.
"Satoru what the hell are you doing?" Shoko questioned, obviously fearing for my wellbeing.
I managed to prise his hand away from my mouth to speak, "I was walking with Gojo and he had his infinity off and he tripped and fell flat on his face!" I blurted out at them as Satoru loosened his grip slightly from behind me and moved to my side, his arm still remaining on my waist as he pulled me closer.
Geto burst out laughing as Shoko rolled her eyes. He really was never going to live this down.
