Jungkook moved in with Jin as he still needed time to recover. As days passed, Jungkook's life was slowly becoming normal. He was craving for a break and finally he got one. Even though he said he was fine Jin and Joon won't let him go as they were still scared. Jungkook had no other option but to give in. He spent all his time with his brother and his family. Though everything felt okay, he felt missing within him. This one time he took his nieces to the park, he felt someone's strong gaze at him. He looked around but there was no one. His eyes scanned around, there were people with their kids, one guy was sitting at the bench looking at the kids, few couples were spending their romantic time together. He turned around but he felt a strange pull. He looked around the bench and saw the man on the bench missing. He felt weird but then dismissed his thoughts.
As he was strolling by, he stood in front of a book store. As he looked through the window, he saw Jackson wave at him. He smiled awkwardly at Jackson. Why does he feel he has been in this bookstore before? The surroundings felt familiar.
Without realizing, he walked in unknowingly. "Good you are finally back in one piece." Jackson spoke.
"Huh? Do I know you? Have I been here before? Why do I feel like I have met you?"
"You need to find those answers yourself, Jungkook", Jackson quipped as he walked away to another section leaving a bewildered Jungkook behind.

For Hoseok, it was going back to square one. Not once but twice, he fell in love and lost the love of his life. Why was fate testing him? First Tae, now Kook. He had lost faith in everything. Maybe he was destined to be alone. His mind was filled with questions. Yoongi tried consoling him but it was of no help. Jimin tried to calm Hoseok too that when the person recovers from the coma they don't remember at times what happened because probably their conscious mind was trying to hide what happened. There are still certain mysteries which even the brightest minds cannot explain. However, for Hoseok, things were not the same without Kook.
He looked around the empty apartment hoping Jungkook would appear in front of him. Unknowing to Jungkook, he often followed him.
That day at the park, Jungkook looked so happy with his nieces. He felt his heart filled with love for the man. Jungkook always wanted to be a parent and looking at him playing with his nieces, he was sure Jungkook would be a great dad. But without any warning, Jungkook turned around to look at him. He hoped he would notice him and remember him but he just simply scanned the ambience of the park. He wanted to talk to Jungkook, make him remember, show him with all the love in the world and tell him how much he missed him, how much he missed his presence. He wanted to scream to Jungkook how much he loved him. He stood up and took the first step but then remembered how Jungkook didn't even know who Hoseok was at hospital. He didn't want to scare Jungkook again. His feet retreated as he walked away from the park.

He slumped in his couch. As the apartment was still on rent, he was still living there. But it wasn't the same without Jungkook. It wasn't the same without his constant nitpicking, bickering. He closed his eyes as his mind lingered to what Jungkook asked Hoseok – a promise. He had promised a garden to Jungkook.
The next day, he asked his colleagues at work to help him set up a garden in the rooftop. Every day, Hoseok made it a point to take care of the plants and create an Eden for Jungkook. He filled the rooftop with different variety of flowers with various fragrances. Amidst the garden was a cute little bench for Jungkook. He hoped that Jungkook found someone whom he could share his life with.

Hoseok was in his office working when his phone rang. It was Ari.
"Hey Ari."
"Hoseok, I found another apartment for you. The owner Seokjin wants their apartment back as his brother will be coming back to stay."
"Oh okay. That's fine, Ari. When will they arrive?"
"Well, they want you to take your time..."
"Umm, Ari, I will be moving within a couple of days. After all, I don't have much to pack anyways", Hoseok said.
"Well then I found a couple of apartments Hoseok..."
"I will take it."
"Don't you wanna see it first?"
"It doesn't matter Ari. Fix the apartment, I will send you the payment."
Ari confirmed and cut the call.
For Hoseok, it didn't matter, nothing mattered anymore.
