Enwoo trudged into Hoseok's apartment, the weight of disappointment evident on his face. The interview he had been so hopeful about had turned into an utter disaster. As he closed the door behind him, he let out a heavy sigh, feeling the weight of frustration settle on his shoulders.
Seeking solace and a comforting presence, Enwoo made his way to Hoseok's apartment. He hesitated for a moment, his hand hovering over the door, unsure if he should disturb his friend. But knowing Hoseok's caring nature, he summoned the courage to knock gently.
"Who is it?"
"Its Enwoo".
"Oh hey, come in". Enwoo walked in and saw Hoseok sitting on the couch, reading a book. Hoseok's radiant smile made Enwoo smile too. The sight instantly brought a small glimmer of hope to Enwoo's eyes, as if the world had suddenly become a bit brighter.
"Hey, Hoseok. Can we talk? It's... it's been a rough day."
Hoseok's eyes filled with concern, and he patted on the seat near him ushering Enwoo to sit. Enwoo settled himself on the couch, grateful for Hoseok's comforting presence. He recounted the details of the interview, how his nerves got the best of him, and how he felt like he had stumbled through the entire process.
Enwoo: "I had prepared so much, Hoseok. But as soon as I stepped into that room, my mind went blank. I stumbled over my words, and I could see the disappointment in their eyes."
Hoseok listened attentively, his expression a mix of empathy and determination. After a while he spoke, "Enwoo, I understand how frustrating that can be. But you're talented and capable. These failure, they...they don't define you."
"I don't know Hoseok. I'm really starting to feel maybe I should go back to my native town."
Hoseok tried to convince Enwoo, "No...Don't give up. I know you'll find a job soon."
"Thanks, Hoseok. I appreciate your support but I really don't have any hope."
"No Enwoo, comeon I know you will be fine. This phase too shall pass. Just hang in there."
"I don't know Hoseok. I'm kind of tired. Maybe I'll just go take a nap. I am sorry I really didn't know whom to talk." Enwoo kept his head down.
"Hey, look at me, Enwoo," Hoseok urged, his voice filled with sincerity. Enwoo reluctantly met Hoseok's gaze, his eyes reflecting a mixture of sadness and uncertainty.
With a soothing voice, Hoseok spoke words of reassurance, his words carrying a weight of conviction. "Something good will come up, okay? You are meant for bigger things. Trust me. This too shall pass." He emphasized each word, hoping to instill a glimmer of hope within Enwoo's heart.
Hoseok wanted Enwoo to understand that he wasn't alone in this journey. He squeezed Enwoo's hands gently and continued, "And don't ever say that you don't have anyone to talk to. You have me, okay? I'm here for you, always."
Enwoo's eyes welled up with tears, unable to contain the overwhelming emotions he had been bottling up inside. He felt a mixture of gratitude and relief wash over him as he realized that he didn't have to face his struggles alone. The warmth of Hoseok's hands and the sincerity in his words provided a much-needed solace.
In a spontaneous gesture of comfort, Hoseok wrapped his arms around Enwoo, embracing him tightly. It was a gesture that conveyed both empathy and reassurance, reminding Enwoo that he wasn't alone in his pain.
Enwoo couldn't help but let his tears flow freely, allowing himself to release the pent-up emotions that had burdened his soul for far too long. Hoseok held him, offering a safe space for him to grieve and find solace.
Hoseok let Enwoo cry, understanding the healing power of letting emotions flow freely. He knew from his own experiences how cathartic it could be to release the pain, to have someone there to lean on.
After a while, as the intensity of the emotions subsided, Enwoo gradually pulled away from Hoseok's comforting embrace. He sniffled, wiping away his tears with the back of his hand, a mix of vulnerability and gratitude still present in his eyes.
Hoseok smiled softly, his eyes reflecting empathy and unwavering support. "It's okay, Enwoo. Let it all out. You don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. We're in this together."
Enwoo nodded being grateful for understanding. He looked at Hoseok. They stared for a couple of seconds before they heard someone cough. It was Jungkook.
Hoseok cleared his throat. "Hey, Kookie. Enwoo was just....Enwoo, why don't you stay for dinner?"
"Hey Kook", Enwoo said.
"Hey Eunwoo. Yeah you can stay for dinner.", Jungkook said between his teeth.
"No thanks Kook and Hoseok. I will pass." Enwoo walked out of their apartment. Hoseok felt emotional looking at the poor man. There must be some way to help the man. But right now, there was an even bigger problem staring at him – Jungkook.
Enwoo entered his modest apartment, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. The financial strain had been slowly suffocating him, and the stack of unpaid bills on the kitchen counter only served as a painful reminder of his current predicament. Despite his love for babysitting Tae, he couldn't ignore the harsh reality that his income from the job wasn't enough to cover his expenses.
Wearily, Enwoo walked to the kitchen, his footsteps heavy with exhaustion and worry. He reached for a bottle of water, his parched throat a testament to the stress that had been building up within him. As he took a sip, he couldn't help but let out a sigh of frustration.
Lying down on his bed, Enwoo closed his eyes, attempting to find a momentary respite from the chaos of his thoughts. However, his mind was relentless, swirling with concerns and uncertainties. The weight of his unsuccessful job search bore heavily on him, and he couldn't help but question his own abilities and the seemingly endless string of rejections he had faced.
Months had passed since he began earnestly applying for jobs, and yet, luck seemed to elude him at every turn. What if he never gets a job? His family? What will they do? The fear of not being able to secure stable employment gnawed at his core, leaving him feeling disheartened and overwhelmed. The pressure to provide for himself and meet his financial obligations was becoming unbearable, and it felt as though time was slipping away with each passing day.
As he lay there, his mind racing with thoughts of missed opportunities and the mounting pressure to find a job, Enwoo couldn't help but feel a sense of defeat. He had poured his heart and soul into every application, tweaking his resume and crafting tailored cover letters, yet the responses remained scarce.
A sense of frustration tinged with a tinge of desperation settled within Enwoo's heart. The future appeared hazy, and he grappled with the fear of never finding a job that would allow him to stabilize his financial situation. Doubt began to seep into his thoughts, eroding his confidence and leaving him questioning his worth and abilities. He closed his eyes letting the stress of the day take him to dreamland.
