"It is your fault. Now I have to change the diaper just like I do everything else." The woman took one baby from the stroller and went to change the diaper.
Jungkook was walking towards his room when he heard a couple arguing. They had four babies in the stroller. The man looked like he would cry any moment now. Jungkook tapped the man. "Hey, are you okay?"
"Do I look okay?", he snapped.
"Sorry, just wanna help", Jungkook replied.
"I am sorry. I just...I am tired. This baby thing..."
"Yeah, I saw, cute babies...four huh? Nice..."
"No...No..No...Not nice. It's a bad decision. It's a freakking nightmare which is an irony coz I don't even sleep."
"What?", Jungkook asked.
"Bad decision. You know I didn't want to have a kid few years ago coz you know I wasn't ready...financially. When I was financially ready, I wasn't emotionally ready and now when I am emotionally and financially ready, my wife wasn't ready."
"Why? What happened?", Jungkook asked curious to see that he is going through the same thing as the poor man.
"We went to the doctor tried out various methods, nothing happened. The doctor said she can't conceive naturally. She had to go through IVF and now this..." The man showed off his babies sadly ready to pull his hair as he rambled on.
"And now the side effects are I have four kids instead of one. When one stops crying, the other one starts and when the other one stops, this third one begins to cry. Moreover, my wife taunts me all the time...Are you ready now husband? You deal with them. They are all yours." He mimicked his wife.
Jungkook imagined himself. Four kids in his arms with Hoseok barking in his ears. Was this an epiphany? Is this a sign that he should have a baby now? Who knows what would happen in the next two years? What if their motility goes even more low? He began walking to Jimin's cabin, his legs pacing with each step.

"Hey Jimin, I wanna have the baby". Jungkook barged in. Jimin was talking to a patient when Jungkook launched himself inside the room.
The patient looked at Jimin and Jungkook weirdly. Jimin coughed, "Kook, give me a minute, will you?"
Jungkook looked at the patient and realized what he has just said. "Ya of course." He walked outside the cabin and waited for Jimin. After the patient left, Jimin called him inside.
"What's going on Kook?"
"I wanna have the baby."
"With me? Damn and I thought you loved Hoseok."
"Shut up Jimin...I am talking about the surrogacy. I will talk to Hoseok. Complete all the formalities, do what you have to do."
"Sure, but what changed your mind?", Jimin asked curious about his friend's sudden change of decision.
"Well, let's just say, I had an epiphany".
"Uh..huh...and what caused this epiphany?", Jimin asked again still not convinced.
"I will tell you later but please make sure you insert only one embryo."
"Why?"
"Nothing just...just please during the procedure choose only one embryo.", Jungkook pleaded.
"You do know that even one embryo can give you twins or multiple births right?", Jimin said.
"Twins? Hmm...twins, not bad. I can handle twins but triplets or quadruplets?", Jungkook shook himself in fear.
"Okay, Jungkook, what is going on?", Jimin asked seriously.
"I will tell you later but not now. I need to talk to Hoseok but please make sure only one single powerful embryo. Okay?", Jungkook said.
"Kook, I am just stating the facts which you already know since you are a doctor. I will see what I can do but talk to Hoseok first. We need his approval too in this, you know that right", Jimin said.
"Okay, okay I will. In fact, I will surprise Hobi. Don't tell him anything now. I will tell him personally today evening", Jungkook said speedily as he walked out of Jimin's room planning to tell his husband.
"Ohhhkayy." Jimin nodded.

Hoseok opened his apartment lazily when the smell of fresh spices and bread wafted through the room.
"Kookie?"
"Hey...you are home", Jungkook walked in from the kitchen and kissed his husband.
"What are you doing?", Hoseok walked in to see Jungkook in a chef's cap but jungkook simply ushered him to the kitchen.
"Kookie what's all this?", Hoseok continued as he looked around.
"Welcome sir, table for two...this way please", Jungkook led Hoseok to the table.
"Check out the chef's special", Jungkook said.
"Baby corns, baby shrimp, baby back ribs...", Hoseok looked at Jungkook curiously as he continued, "What is this, Kookie? What's with the baby food?"
"It means I am ready to have a baby", Jungkook said taking a deep breath.
Hoseok's mouth fell open. His husband is ready. What changed all of a sudden? Is this a prank? Two weeks ago, this man gave the performance of his lifetime by creating a huge drama about how much he needed time and how he is not ready for a family. Now what happened?
Jungkook knew Hoseok didn't believe him. "Okay, look...I know last time I wasn't ready and I created a drama. But trust me I am ready now. I totally am. I want to create a family with you."
"Am I hallucinating? Maybe I died", Hoseok said pinching himself to see if this is real.
"No, Hobi. I am ready. I want to have a baby with you. I want to grow old with you. I spoke to Jimin and he can arrange for everything. I do, I am so ready for the baby." Jungkook said as he held his husband's hands and kissed it. he looked at Hoseok's face and gently kissed his forehead. "Let's have the baby Hobi. Raise a family, grow old together."
Hoseok's eyes were brimming with tears. He will have a family...as he always wanted with the love of his life. He nodded fervently and placed a kiss on Jungkook's lips.
Jungkook hugged his husband his mind still racing with thoughts. The first step towards fatherhood....A chance he had to take.
