CHAPTER 22

Juno

Today was the day of Starla's awakening, it's been two nights since I saw Vega and I have been on guard for the longest since she's informed me her mother wants my head before the ceremony. Thankfully, I've had Theo who's been guarding the door and forbidding anyone from getting closer.

"Morning" I said knocking on the door, she turned to look at me and I heard her chuckle softly. I was surprised to say the least, I've never heard her chuckle since the day I got here.

"You have...something on your face" she said pointing to my cheek, I tried to focus on the glass door to see my reflection and I saw a small penis drawn on my cheek. I heard her muffle her chuckles and clear her throat right after.

"Did you do this Theo?" I asked in all seriousness which made her stop giggling, she shook her head no hesitantly. I knocked on the door again trying to get her to look at me, but when she didn't I sighed and pretended to be sad and started walking towards the bed.

I heard the door open right after and I smirked knowing my plan of getting her to come inside the cell was working perfectly. It was time for my revenge. I sniffled again and grabbed the sharpie discreetly, I heard the mask click open and a hand land on my shoulder.

"I- I saw in my screen that humans...uhm do pranks? I don't know, they said it makes them happy and you looked sad so I thought....I thought it'll make you laugh. I'm sorry" god my heart was beating unbelievably fast at the sound of her words, she was trying to make me feel better the whole time but I was busy trying to figure out what to do with Vega's plan.

She sounded so soft and warm, like she was afraid to break me if she raised her voice at me. I sighed and turned to look at her and I saw her stifle a laugh as soon as she saw my face. I rolled my eyes and quickly opened the marker and just drew something random on her forehead.

"I have work!" She whispered yelled, I dropped on the bed laughing my ass off because she looked like a unicorn but with a flat horn.

"I have an execution!" I said back catching her off guard, her eyes widened and they went from playful to scared. I realized that she had no idea why I was sad these past days she just wanted to make me feel better.

"What?" She asked still looking at me in surprise, I cleared my throat and sat up on the bed.

"Valeria has given the order for my execution because today is Starla's awakening" I said with a loud sigh, without saying anything she went out of the room and left me there confused at her sudden departure.

A few minutes later she came back with a cloth in her hand, it had a blue liquid on it, she sat next to me on the bed grabbing my chin and turned my head to the side. She started cleaning the drawing on my cheek softly. Her eyes were focused on what she was doing, the tip of her tongue was resting on her top lip in a focused way. She looked so cute, like a kid trying to get something done.

Her lips were inviting, so rosy and plump, and they were so close to my face. All I wanted was  to feel them on mine, she's stopped moving her hand on my cheek for a second so I looked up at her eyes to see where she was looking and oh lord her beautiful eyes were watching my every move curiously.

My hand made its way to her thigh and stayed resting there, I unconsciously leaned closer to her face and she didn't show any sign of disagreement or hesitation, she even leaned to find me halfway.

Her lips gently landed on mine, the warm and soft skin coating my own lips in a feeling of desire and lust. They moved together at a slow pace while my hand kept rubbing her thigh, surprisingly she seemed to enjoy that more than I expected, her soft groans and moans were getting into me fast and I wanted to hear them louder.

I wrapped my arms around her neck and jump on her lap straddling her, her hands quickly went on my hips and starter moving them on her hard crotch. With the friction against my core I couldn't hold my moans and she took the advantage of my open lips and slipped her tongue in.

At some point we had to pull away from some air, her cheeks were a soft pinkish color while her lips were the darkest shade of red. I looked at her eyes and she's caught me staring at her lips again, I hid my face in her neck and I heard her let out a small chuckle.

"Now would you please clean the drawing off my forehead, I'm sure I look stupid" she whispered kissing the side of my head, I pulled away to look at the art on her forehead and let out a small giggle, she smiled rolling her eyes playfully. I grabbed the cloth she brought and gently took off the black sharpie marks on her face.

Just when I was done the door open and four masked guards walked inside in hurry, I jumped off of Theo's lap and she stood up with a confused look but used her body to shield me from them.

"Guard, we're here for the execution of the human. Stay out of it, or there will be consequences" One of them said in a monotonous voice, Theo put her hand on her weapon as if she was telling them she wasn't going to back away. Two of them launched at her she dodged the first one and grabbed the second guard's hand tripping her, she punched the one on the floor hard on her face her mask shattered. If I'm being honest, she was literally destroyed her face without even using a weapon.

Then the first one tried to kick her on the head but Theo grabbed her leg and slammed her on the floor next to her friend, she went to finish her with a punch when I saw one of the two other guards left holding something in her hands.

Before I could react and tell her to watch out the guard wrapped the wire around Theo's neck while her friend pushed her on her knees while tying her wrists with another wire.

"No! Stop it! You're killing her!" I tried to run to Theo, her face was turning red as she struggled against the tight wire around her neck and the rough hands holding her down.

I felt a hand grab me by the waist and stop me from getting any closer to her, my eyes were starting to water as I watched her try to move but she was trapped and hopeless, I wish I had my powers right now. I'd kill every single one of them mercilessly....

That's when I remembered the key in my pocket, I slipped my hand and took out the golden key, the guard that was holding me was busy watching Theo catch her last breaths, she has stopped struggling but I could still see her blinking and looking at me with a tear sliding down her cheek.

No please don't die on me...
