Chapter 1: Kouta Higurashi

"Sir, there is a man here to see you." A younger man told the older man.

"Who is it?" He asked one of his soldiers.

"A man named Kouta Higurashi." He told him.

He blinked, recognizing the name of 'Kouta Higurashi', so he commanded him immediately, "Bring him in here."

He nodded as he went back to the hall and bring him to the office. It has been a long time since he last saw his friend from college. He never expects to meet him again after three years of seeing him. However, he and Kouta are best friends. He remembered when he was younger, he met him at college and became friends. They worked together for education. Well, learning more things about science skills. He has known him for so long while they were in college, studying educational science.

Then he saw a man with black hair with tinted blue and icy blue eyes enter his office as he wore his black and white suit. He smiled, knowing it was his best friend.

"Kouta, it's been a long time, hasn't it?" He said happily as he got off the chair and embraced him.

He embraced him back, "It has, Suko."

"So, how are you? How is life?" He asked his friend happily.

"Well, turn out I married a most beautiful woman named Akiko Takahashi after I got off from college. I met her in Kamakura, Tokyo, where she lived with her parents and, of course, her older sister Tsunade and her grandmother named Hana. They were very nice first of all, and they seem to be okay by marrying her." Kouta told his friend.

"Well, I'm not the really person who is married to a woman as well," Suko said with a smirk.

"I thought I would ask you that." He replied, smirking back.

"By the way, Kouta, what brings you here?" Suko asked him curiously, hoping it would be interesting by having him here in his office.

"I was sent on a mission to travel through space by my boss. Also, I was bringing my men with me before leaving Earth." Kouta told his friend.

"I see. What planet do you intend to go to?" He asked.

He hummed at this, placing the chin with his fingers, "My boss told me that we were going to an alternate universe where there are two dimensions between our worlds."

"Is that so? Is that why they were sending you and your men on a mission to a different dimension?" He asked, sounding so serious.

Kouta nodded. "Yes. And that is why we have to study the different dimensions. And that is why we needed your spaceship as well."

He sighed, "I'm supposed that's fine with that, but I didn't want anything to happen."

He gave his old friend a warm smile as he tap him on his shoulder blade, "Don't worry, Suko. I'll give it back to you when our mission is finished."

He shook his head. "No, it's not that I'm worried about the spaceship. I'm worried about you." Suko told him with a serious look, "I'm worried that one day something might have happened to you while you and your men went on a suicide mission. I'm worried that you guys might be stuck in a different dimension when you guys will never return home. What will happen to you, Kouta? What will happen to your men? What will your wife think about your well-being?"

Kouta sighed. So he faced him and gave him a solid when he could see a worried look on Suko's face. He didn't want him to waste his time seeing them after three years of last seeing them at college. However, Kouta wanted to restrain him from having such a stressful day.

"Suko, as I said before, I will be fine. And don't worry about me. It will take a couple of days to investigate the dimensions from outer space. I'm not going to say this, Suko, but as long as the mission is over, I will be alright. Nothing happens to me a lot. It was just a job that we were working on. So do you trust me by telling you this?" Kouta said.
