Three years earlier...

This is it. This is the day I have been waiting for. I am standing in front of her door. I am waiting for her to open the door, or her mother. The flower bouquet is starting to slip from my hand, as they start to sweat...excessively.

This hasn't happened once. Trying to impress this girl, I have only known for a month, and I am completely, absolutely, utterly, whipped by her personality, her looks, her...well her everything.

The door clicks, and I instantly straighten my back and smile.

"You must be Ace." An older version of Sarah greets me, and I, now, know from where Sarah gets her good looks.

"Yes, ma'am. It is nice to meet you." I courtly extend my hand to shake hers.

She smiles sweetly at me and shakes my hand. "Come on in, Ace."

"Thank you, ma'am."

"Well, Sarah told me that you are quite the charmer, and I believe her now." I follow her into the house.

Their house is similar to ours. The colors may only be the only difference between the two, and their house is more modern, furniture wise. My mother an old-fashioned decor.

"That is very sweet of you, Mrs...?"

"Mrs?" She laughs, "I am happily divorced."

"Mom, don't scare him off."

I die. I think I did. The moment, I have turned to face her, my heart is no longer beating. I stop breathing, as my eyes study every inch of her. She is so beautiful, but the girl standing in front of me is beyond that, way beyond that. Marvelous. Stunning. Perfect.

"Hi, Ace." The corners of her lips pull upwards, forming that beautiful smile I have grown fond of.

I want to answer her, but I am captivated by her beauty. She is wearing a red dress that wraps around her body, highlighting every angle of her body. Sarah knows that she owns a gorgeous body, and she is definitely not afraid to show it to the whole world.

She walks to me, bringing her hands to mine. "Are these for me?"

Her voice goes right through me, making my heart beat faster.

"Yes." I take her hand in mine and place the flowers in between her arm and chest.

"They are beautiful, Ace. Thank you."

My hand moves to her hair, and I tuck a strand on her shiny brown hair behind her ear.

"They are not as beautiful as you," I tell her, and I am fighting every voice, every urge, every need, I have to not kiss her right now in front of her mother.

"Mom, we are leaving. You can chat with Ace when he comes back."

I like that. I like the way she has just confirmed to me that we are going to last for a while. Thought I am hoping for more than just a while.

We say our goodbyes to her mother. Sarah pulls me by the hand outside her house. We still haven't gotten off her porch, when she turns around hooking her arms around my neck bringing me down to her.

How can I resist?

I wrap my arm around her, keeping her against me, while I connect our lips. I like kissing her.

It feels really good kissing her. I want to back her up a wall and explore her.

"Take..." She whispers then goes back to kissing me, "Me...somewhere."

"I don't know where I should take you," I tell her, my mind is fogged by all the sensations I feel at this moment. "I had this date planned, but right now I can't bring myself to take you there, because all I am thinking of is kissing you, and how much I want to kiss you more and more."

I place my hand under her ear, not wanting her away from me.

"Ace, don't tempt me." She whispers in my ear, "I want that gift you got for me."

"God." I groan, but I let her go eventually, "You're killing me."

"The torture is worth the wait."
