I'd open my eyes to a deep darkness. It was no longer light. I'd look around the dark room, being able to outline certain things.
The door creaked open.
"Are you awake?" I heard someone whisper.
I'd squint my eyes as the door opening let in light. The person in the doorway walked in and turned on the lights, I quickly flinched. They'd notice and dimmed the lights. I could actually see the room I was in as well as the person. The person had dark brown hair, brownish skin, goat ears and a tail, and some horns. They wore a blue outfit.
"Glad to see you're awake again!" They'd say, closing the door and smiling sweetly.
I'd open my mouth to speak but when I tried my throat was in a sharp pain. I'd blink at the person, shrugging a bit. They walked over and took the oxygen mask off of my face. I'd breath in the cold air of the place I was in.
The person unstrapped my wrists and my neck from the bed I was on, handing me a little chalk board so I could speak.
"So, how do you feel?" They'd ask.
'I feel fine, but where am I?' I'd write down.
"Your in a hospital. How'd you not know?"
I gave them a small look. They understood and nodded their head.
"So, I'm Dr. Seightsinger, but you can call me Sebastian if you don't like doctors."
'Im technically a doctor, but I don't feel like writing Seightsinger every time I want something. I'll stick with calling you Sebastian.' I'd write down, having to make it small for the little chalk board
Sebastian nodded his head.
"Well, do you want anything?" He'd ask, looking at me then picking up a clipboard at the end on the bed.
'I want to know how long I was out.' I'd write.
"Eh, I'd say a couple days, maybe close to a week." Sebastian would respond, flipping through the papers on the clipboard.
My eyes widened in shock.
"Don't worry about it, you were recovering from shock as well as your wounds." Sebastian replied,
'I don't have time to recover,' I'd write down, showing it then erasing to write again. 'I need to get back to my job.'
"I see that you want to continue your work, but you can't do that in this condition." He'd say, giving me a stern look.
I'd roll my eyes and huffed looking away from him.
"Coke, look at yourself. Your cut, dented, and bruised. You'd barely be able to walk." Sebastian stated, crossing his arms. "Coke.. I'm doing this to help you recover faster.." he'd say in a soft voice, putting a hand on the bed and rubbing his face.
I'd look back, realizing he was sincere. I sighed and looked at the ceiling, feeling tired. Not from the mixture of air they kept giving me, just from pure exhaustion. I'd yawn, my eyes feeling heavy. I rubbed my eyes, stretching a bit.
"Sleepy?" He'd ask quietly.
I nodded my head and crossed my arms, closing my eyes. I'd slowly fall into a light sleep.
I'd open my eyes slightly to find Sebastian walking around in my room. He was hanging bags of fluids on the hospital equipment. The oxygen mask that was in my face had been taken off. I'd keep my breath steady and slow, trying not to make any sudden movements.
I suddenly heard a ringing. I saw Sebastian take out his phone and answer it.
"Yes sir, it's all ready.. no I haven't told her yet, I'll do it soon. But- are you sure?" Sebastian's voice started to get higher in fear, "but I don't like this.. maybe we can do something else..? I understand sir... Will do-"
