I snapped my eyes open and pushed myself up in a panic. Where did the hospital room go?

I looked around, it was dark. But I could see myself just fine. The ground was made of some kind of gooey liquid. I was surprised that I wasn't sinking into it-

"Hello?" I'd yell, looking around.

I pushed myself to my feet and started to walk around, exploring the barren area. It all looked the same no matter how far I walked or ran. Seems I was stuck somewhere.

I sat down, knowing there wasn't anything else I could do. Looking into my reflection of the gooey black liquid that was the floor, I examined myself. My eyes were black with bright purple pupils. They secreted the same kind of goo that made up this place. I looked down at my hands and noticed my fingers were razor sharp, and black. I then realized I felt different as well. Quickly standing up, noticing my height has gotten taller. I smiled slightly.

Sitting back down, I dragged my knife-like fingers through the sludge and just thought.

I heard screaming.

I instantly got to my feet, looking around and listening for where I heard the scream. More and more were faint in the distance. My feet started to run towards the distant screams. They sounded painful and agonizing. I ran faster, but they got more distant. My foot slipped and I fell, landing on the squishy ground. It was just hard a moment ago-

I rubbed my head, sitting up and pressing my hand into the ground, it was back to a solid.

"Well this is something." I'd say to myself.

I closed my eyes and listening to the screams fade in and out of existence. Some familiar and some unrecognizable. Some went on for a while and some were cut off. It made me shiver.

I flipped myself onto my back and stretched out, looking at the dark sky. I yawned, closing my eyes.

I jolted up, feeling a sharp pain in my back and chest. Holes had appeared on them, leaking brown fizzy soda. I winced slightly. Quickly tearing a bit off of the pants I had on, I used it to wrap around my wounds, keeping them from leaking. Soon the pain went away and I layed back down. I wonder what happened just now.

I heard the sounds of guns. I opened my eyes and listened carefully. There were guns being fired and screams could be heard. I shrugged, relaxing in the ground. Until I felt a sharp pain in my chest again. Looking down at it, I noticed there were tiny little holes the size of bullets inside of me. I panicked slightly, ripping more fabric from my pants and tying it onto my chest, covering the holes.

More appeared and I started to get pushed back. An unknown force pushed against me, making me fall backwards again. I felt multiple hands grab my arms and legs, pinning me to the floor. But when I looked there was nothing there. Tensing up my arms, I tried to pull them free but couldn't move.

There was soon something heavy on my chest and I couldn't get up even the slightest bit. I whimpered slightly, wondering what was going on. Soon I felt hands grab my face and pry my mouth open. I fought and fought but couldn't get free. I then felt something force it's way into my mouth and down my throat, then pulled itself back out again. I gagged, coughing slightly.

I started to feel a pressure slowly build, but it wasn't anything that made me worry. Soon all of the hands let go of me and the weight in my chest had lifted. I pushed myself up into a sitting position and rubbed my face.

I sat there, trying to put together what just happened. But soon the pressure inside of my started building. I moved my legs and winced slightly, it seems moving made it worse. But I didn't have a choice, I needed to try and get away from this area.

Forcing myself to stand up, I screamed in pain. The pressure hurt like hell and it wasn't going to go away any time soon. Staggering to my feet, I started to carefully walk away from the area I was in. Hopefully if I went to another area it's go away?

I tripped and fell to the ground, it turned squishy again and caught me. It then turned hard again. I breath heavily and put my arms around myself. I brought my knees up to my chest and gritted my teeth, whimpering in slight pain. I felt like I was going to throw up-

And I did

I flipped to my side and threw up mouthfuls of the black liquid. What was wrong with me- soon the black liquid turned into my own soda. I kept throwing up and wanted to stop-

After a couple more seconds it stopped. I breathed heavily, wrapping my arms around myself. I then felt something slimy and wet in my arms and legs. I looked over and saw these weird tentacles had wrapped themselves around my limbs. They started to drag me under the surface of the goo I was sitting on top of.

I gasped and quickly sat up, trying to free myself. I strained my arms and broke out of one of the tentacles grips. I then used that arm to try and push myself out of the ground. It has swallowed my lower half to my waist already. I quickly freed my other hand and braced myself, pushing upwards. The liquid still sucked me under and had claimed one my my arms. I grunted, pushing with all my force with my hand and arm to free myself but couldn't. I took a deep breath and was dragged under the surface.

It was thick and slimy. I didn't like it. Barely being able to live my body, I opened my eyes a bit. It was pitch black. I felt something jabbed into me. I coughed slightly, letting out some of my air. I felt another push on my chest and it caused me to let out more air. My chest started hurting. I needed air-

There was a giant punch in my chest and it caused me to let out the rest of my air and my chest throbbed. I felt my body getting weaker and a ringing had started growing in my head. My chest felt like it was being stabbed with a million knives.

I think I might die.

I gasped, opening my eyes slightly. My vision was blurry, and I saw someone was carrying me. They wore a green shirt and dark green vest. Their skin was grey and their hair a darker shade. I blinked slightly as they carried me through a broken and destroyed hallway. I felt my chest throbbed and I closed my eyes again, trying to steady my breathing and make the pain go away.

"Hey, what's your problem?"

What?

"Why'd you hold us back?"

Who are you?

"It doesn't matter. But why? We could have gotten revenge on all that had hurt us!"

Hold it- who even are you?

"It doesn't matter right now. I need you to wake up."

But I am awake.

"I mean actually wake up."

Explain!

"You need to wake up before you forget how to!"
