It was a simple night, on a full moon. The stars shined brightly, lighting up the night sky.
The Republic was simply lit by the streetlights, most of the citizens sleeping.

In the large mansion, two women simply sat in their shared room, telling their old memories. From baby pictures of their children, even to past experiences that reach to highschool.

"Hehe..Remember this one..?"
Light Cream said, in her usual soft voice.
She pointed towards an image of Financier, who had just barely began to lift a sword.

"Hm..I do, of course. That was the day she chose her path..Even as a child, she was very dedicated."
G.M smiled, it felt like every memory was coming back at once by looking through the picture book.

"Oh dear..What about this one..?"
She had pointed at a simple baby picture of Knight. It had been taken just a few months after he was born, and he was learning his first steps.

But, in the background, G.M noticed..Him.
Her old husband.
He passed away when Financier and Madeleine were only 7, and neither even remembered him that well.

She frowned. Knight never even got to meet his dad.
Light Cream still held sympathy for the four of them. G.M had lost the one who she met in highschool, afterall.

But, she had met Light Cream after his passing, and had quickly fell in love.
..Then, they got married.
G.M would always feel sadness for her children, though.
Once in a while, her son would come in, and cry, stating that he missed his father.
And even her daughter would occasionally cry about it.

"..Dear? Are you okay..?"
The voice of Light Cream snapped her from those thoughts.

"Ah- Yes, I am alright..Just- Thinking."
G.M mumbled. Unfortunately, the other woman could easily read her emotions.

"Were you thinking of him again..?"
She spoke in the softest voice possible. She knew, after 9 years of a marriage, of this sensitive topic.

G.M slowly nodded at her, glancing away to stare out the window.

Light Cream frowned a bit, leaning over to hug her wife.
"You know you can talk to me, dear..I don't mind.."
She gently put down the book on their nightstand, returning to the hug right after.

"I apologize..I just feel terrible for the kids, is my best explanation."

"..I know you do, but they've gotten better..All 3 of them are much happier now, they have their own special someones.."
She smiled gently, leaning more to leave a peck on the others cheek.

"..Thank you, dear. You..Made me feel a lot better."
She took a glance to the wallclock, and turned back to Light Cream.
"I think it is time we sleep. It's quite late.."

"Oh! I didn't notice the time, apologies.. Let us sleep then, dearest."
Light Cream's smile seemed to grow larger, her eyes sparkling a slight bit.

G.M reached over to turn off the lamp, smoothing down her hair a bit before laying down, feeling her wife lay against her shoulder.

"Goodnight, dear.."
..And, they fell asleep.
'Although you're gone..Our memories of you shall never go away.'
