~~♡~~. .Somewhere, in the deepest depths of the oceans of the City Of Wizards, a woman blessed by the sea itself wandered the ocean, all alone, awaiting the woman she loved. She walked, picking up some stunningly blue corals that reminded her of her darling's flowing dress.
Leaning down to pick up some shells, she held them closely, and allowed the sea currents to lift her above the flowing waters.
Sea Fairy watched the moon intently, a certain shine in her diamond eyes. She awaited the other woman's arrival, watching as the dolphins played around in the quiet seas, the only sound being the waves crashing against a nearby beach. Soon enough, the stars began to align with each other, glowing in harmony. That was when she knew her dearest would be arriving, as always.
The moon shined brighter than it has been that night, taken over by shades of purple and pink, the silhouette of a woman reflecting among the seas.Sea Fairy watched, hoping she wasn't turning pink at the sight of the other's flowing hair, as beautiful as the dawn sky. The golden moon that she was settled on glew in the dark lighting as she floated down, and she held a fond smile whilst she approached the legendary woman of the sea.
"..Hello, Sea Fairy. I have awaited to visit."
Moonlight spoke in such a gentle tone, like a slow song. Maybe, she could convince her to visit the upcoming ball, and dance among the other visitors."..Moonlight, I missed you so. The waters told me of your arrival.."
She smiled back, remembering the arrangement of items she collected for the other woman. Sea Fairy leaned up, stretching her arms to hand her the custom bouquet, arranged in seashells and corals that matched her colours. Moonlight gasped, happily taking it from her gentle hands."My, this is beautiful! Thank you, Sea, it is stunning."
She held it close, staring at the other woman with nothing but fondness in her mauve eyes.
Sea Fairy bowed her head, taking a glance towards the lightening sky, indicating that dawn was starting.
'. .Did we speak for that long? Or did I lose track of time..?'Moonlight looked too, the slightest frown taking its place on her glowing face. She turned back towards the other woman, handing her a pair of seashell earrings.
". .A friend gave these to me. I felt you should have them."
Sea Fairy held them in her palms, staring at the beautiful pink colours.
"Thank you, Moon."
Was all she said, waving as the other began to float backwards, back to her home in the sky.~~♡~~
..Sea Fairy stared in her vanity, one she was gifted by a young child who carved and shaped it into a stunning mirror. She looked at the earrings, dangling down just past her ears. Today would be her day; The day she would admit it to her dearest, whispering those adoring words under the glow of the moon.
Maybe, her moon would reciprocate.♡
Once again, she floated up to the surface, holding an arrangement of flowers this time around. She carefully crafted a necklace with a stunning blue gem in the center, matching the other's eyes.
She awaited her arrival, staring up at the stars for the sign that she was going to arrive.
..Tonight, they would share 'BlueRose Wine', inside of shining silver glasses. It was a promise from their last meetup, and Moonlight swore that she would show up in her best dress.
This, was one of the rare nights where the stars would align into a constellation; Delphinus, one of Sea Fairy's personal favorites. She learned many new facts about the stars from her dear, adoring how she smiled when ranting about every constellation out there.Once she saw the bright stars begin to align, she knew. The crescent moon gave off that typical gleam, her favorite 'star' beginning to appear, her darkened silhouette glowing purple.
Sea Fairy rose on her waters, reaching out a hand. Moonlight leaned a bit, holding her soft hand. They both smiled at the shared touch, adoring the scenery together.
"..Greetings once again, Sea Fairy. I have missed your company.."She whispered out a quiet greeting, a small part of her fawning over the pink that coated the other woman's face.
". .I missed yours too, Moon. Shall we..?"
Sea Fairy gestured a bit, smiling as Moonlight gave an affirming nod. She helped the other onto her moon-platform, ensuring she was comfortable. They both shared and enjoyed the berry wine, staring at one another with nothing but fondness in each other's eyes, glowing in the small bit of light that reflected in the ocean.
..Hours later, when they could sense dawn approaching, Sea Fairy began her plans for what she would say, running through what she plotted out through her head.
She tapped Moonlight's shoulder, flinching in slight fear when she turned towards her. Suddenly, she couldn't speak, too lost in those violet eyes.
But, she gave up on a huge confession.". . I love you..."
Sea Fairy couldn't process what she was saying anymore. Moonlight looked shocked, her face a pinkish red."Oh, Sea..I love you too!"
She gasped, pulling the other in for a gentle hug. Sea Fairy wrapped her arms around her shoulders, holding her as carefully as possible. Moonlight looked behind her, up at her home in the sky.". .Sea, the stars..!"
Moonlight giggled happily, pointing out at the stars, forming the shape of a constellation, as if the gods knew of their moment. Sea Fairy watched, a small glimmer in her eyes."It is..Beautiful."
She whispered in awe, the colours in the sky clashing stunningly.
"..No constellation in our sky can compare to..You, though, Moon.."
She turned, smiling. Moonlight smiled back, and continued to stare at the stars with fondness shining in her eyes.. .Maybe, they were their own constellation; The sea, and the moon.
United together as one, as they always would be, this night being one to remember.~End~
