♡"..A Drink, For Your Woes?"

It was another hard day of expeditions, and by now you were absolutely exhausted. Dragging your feet, you walked to the one place you would feel comfortable the most: Sparkling's Bar.
But, for now, you let your mind wander a bit to the literal trash day you've had.
First, you got cereal, but ended up not realizing the milk was expired, and found out the disgusting way.
Then, you managed to anger Espresso, and with that..Comes a lot after.
After being brutally attacked by both his sister AND father, you had to get Herb's attention and BOOM! He was busy tending to his brother already!

And finally: Gingerbrave sent you on an expedition, which now caused your entire outfit to be practically destroyed.
..Yeah. It sucked.

Finally approaching the bar, you pushed the doors open, hearing the light jingle of the doorbell overtop.
Sparkling's bar was currently decorated with Halloween-themed decors due to the approaching holiday, and the entire bar was filled with happy chatter. (And people stumbling around..)

You took a seat on one of the stools, waiting for the bartender to exit the backroom. It took a few minutes, but eventually he emerged from the doorway, carrying a couple wipes.

"Ah, hey y/n! I've been awaiting your arrival here!"
He cheerfully said, with a bright smile.
You simply smiled back, trying your best to cover up how upset and overall pissed you were.
Unfortunately, Sparkling was way too good at reading people's emotions, and concern quickly covered his face.

"..You alright there? You er- Seem a bit down."
He concerningly muttered, mostly just meant for you to hear.
..And you broke, groaning before beginning to explain to him what exactly happened that got you in such a mood.

"Hm, so you've just had a bad day, huh? ..Will a drink er- help a bit?"
Sparkling asked, obviously worried.
You nodded, watching as he gave a bit of a nod back, and smoothly moved to his drink-maker.

"Here you go, some juice! Non-alcoholic, I assure you!"
Sliding the drink towards you, he smiled, before tending to the people who were waiting to order.

You glanced to the side, seeing Vampire, leaned over the table, and obviously hungover. He was snoring quite a bit loud, even worse...
It was like this almost everytime you visited, and Alchemist would always show up to drag him back out.

Hearing shuffling nearby, you focused more on the drink than on what was going on around.
It somehow cheered you up a bit, but Sparkling's drinks always did that for you.
Stirring the drink around a bit, you watched the bubbles swirl around. (..It was entertaining, okay?)

The bartender came back over, and you guys practically talked for hours. Atleast, up until closing hours.

"Thanks for hanging out in the bar with me, your company really is enjoyable!"
He said, with a bright smile, as he locked up the doors for the night.
Pulling your coat over your shoulders, you grinned back, before replying:
"It's no problem, really! I quite enjoy staying in the bar, your drinks helped my mood a lot..!"

"Ah, I'm glad! I really try, that means a lot!"
..Hand in hand, you two walked back to his shared apartment.
This was possibly the best part of your day.
