Ah yes, the Cookie Kingdom; Rays of sunlight beaming down onto the residents, lighting up their faces on the daily..
Some birds flew nearby, landing down to peck up some remaining crumbs on the ground.
Happy chatter flooded the kingdom, as it always did.
..A perfect day for them to take a lovely stroll through the park, hands linked together. The river's water gently flowed, waves creating a soothing melody in the silence.
Very few residents wandered through the area at this time, most busy at the market, per usual.
Madeleine hummed a happy tune, a wide smile on his face. Sparkling simply stared at him, sighing with nothing but admiration.
He truly did love this man, huh??
Through stormy days, huddling up close in the cold house whilst watching movies..The bartender loved those days, as his bar was typically closed; He knew how scared his lover would get during thunderstorms.
Or, on those lovely snowy winter mornings, waking up and being greeted by the knight, who would always be carrying a tray for him with some breakfast, alongside a mug of steaming hot chocolate.
..But, no warm hot-cocoa could compare to Madeleine's warmth; He was just naturally warm, apparently.
(..Seriously, he was like a human furnace…)

"Sparky?? Are you listening???"
The voice of his boyfriend snapped him out of his love-dazed thoughts, causing him to flinch a bit. Madeleine tilted his head, somewhat like a confused puppy would. Sparkling chuckled awkwardly, giving a lopsided grin.
"Ha..Could you repeat it, dear?"
He answered, staring at the other's face. The knight pouted, turning his head away.
The bartender tapped his shoulder, trying to hold back his giggles.
..Madeleine only crossed his arms dramatically, mumbling out a 'hmph!' at him.
Sparkling let his giggles escape, quietly laughing at the reaction.
"Pfff- Dear, I was simply admiring you!"
He explained, still laughing in between each word. Madeleine turned back, mouth opening slightly; He seemed..Oddly dumbfounded at the confession.
"..Oh.."
The knight whispered, face turning red. He gripped Sparkling's hand once again, pulling him along the path back to their house, face burning a rose-red, whilst the bartender snickered in the background.
