Chapter 2

Louis standing in his soaking wet clothes, from El nailing him with water balloons, suddenly lifted up his head to look at me. He curiously lifted up his finger and pointed at me with scrunched eyebrows, wondering who I was. Right then, Eleanor ran down the hall.

"That's right Louis! I got you!" She laughed victoriously, stopping in her tracks when she saw me.

"Wait… You're keely! Maura told me you'd be down here today, how nice you made it for the little jam session!" She said, I liked her already. She was so kind, they all were.

"Hold on, El, you knew she was coming down to Mullingar today?" Niall asked her, rubbing his forehead.

She smiled and laughed while she looked around at everyone, then nodded her head sweetly like a little girl.

"Your mom was going to surprise the two of you, since you both haven't seen each other in over 2 years." She announced.

Niall laughed slightly in the thought that his mom had planned this, I hoped he was happy she did, although, it did seem like it.

"Wait wait wait…" Louis started. "So this is the girl you always talked about during X Factor? Your best friend?" He finished off.

"Yeah! Keely! Or, Kiki." He answered him, putting his arm over my shoulder.

Louis then smiled at the floor and nudged Harry like they knew something I didn't.

"So… ah ha… she's the one baby Niall almost ki-"

"LOU SHUT UP!" Niall interrupted Louis. I smiled awkwardly, confused.

That's when all the boys laughed and Niall became rather red in the cheeks.

"So are we gonna rock some tunes or what?" Ed asked the room. I still couldn't believe I was in the presence of Ed Sheeran.

"Yeah you guys go ahead I'm just going to talk to Kiki for a minute, okay?" Niall told the group.

"What if I wanted to talk to Keely?" Josh joked with him.

I rolled my eyes and giggled looking away from them both.

"Get outta 'ere man." Nialler said pushing him gently away.

    When It was just Niall and I in the living room he took off his hat and ran his fingers through his hair, taking an exasperated breath.

"I can't believe you're here." He said, facing me and smiling.

"I can't believe I'm here either, to be honest with you. It's er… been awhile?" I responded nervously.

"It's been more than awhile, babe. You've just been all famous in New York, haven't you?" He teased me.

"Me? Yeah cause being in one broadway show DEFINITELY makes ME the famous one here? Look at you!" I responded joyfully, poking his chest. "You've accomplished everything I thought you would." I continued softly.

His face became gentle after that and he looked away for a moment, then back into my eyes.

"I didn't expect for all of this…" He began.

He then walked away from me a little towards the piano at the end of the room, and sat down on the bench of it. He looked up at me with genuine eyes, clearly struggling with what to say.

"What?" I asked him.

He looked away from me as he said, "I'm sorry, Keely. I'm sorry I never made the time to see you. At one point during the tour we were in the same exact place… and it didn't even dawn on me that I could see you. Seeing you now, here, makes me feel like shit. Because you probably thought I forgot about you… but I didn't… I thought about you every day." He informed me with nothing but sincerity.
