The pizza was ready and they sat outside on the patio and ate and talked. David had to work on Saturday pretty much all day. The twins were going over to her Aunt June's for the weekend in a little bit. Her mother and she were doing the spa day at Four Seasons tomorrow. DJ said he was going to hang with friends, though he had never told her he had friends since he spent most of his time there.
After dinner, her mother went upstairs and helped the twins pack their things. She sat in the family room in the basement with DJ and David and started a movie to watch. She liked David, he did not seem like an overbearing parent, and he was involved with his children's lives. As much as she needed a mother in her life, she needed a father figure as well. David was the only thing she ever had that would be close to that.
DJ was similar to his father. They both were very intelligent, great listeners and in the family. David came from a big family. He said he was the youngest of eight kids but was the only one in the St. Louis area. His parents stayed married till they died a year apart from each other. His family had an annual reunion in different cities all over the country. He told her she just missed their last one that was in D.C., and that she could come to next year's reunion in Miami, Florida.
She liked the sound of that, being a part of a family. She never thought she would be at anyone's family reunion.
David married DJ's mother pretty young, at age twenty. They met in college and fell in love and married while they were still in school. He still brought flowers to her grave on her birthday and Mother's Day with DJ. That was love and devotion.
She wondered if DJ would be that type of husband. Fall in love and devote his life to her, even after death.
She smiled thinking of DJ as a father, maybe they would have lots of kids.
"Hold up!" she thought to herself. "I don't want any babies and I am not in love with this man!"
She got out of her head and pushed DJ for no reason.
"Hey!" DJ pushed her back.
"You two fight like you've been brother and sister for a long time," her mother said as she came back downstairs. "Can you two behave while David and I go out for a little bit?"
"I can long as she keeps her hands off of me," DJ said and gave her a wink.
She blushed and looked away, not wanting her mother to see her all gushy over DJ.
"I think we'll be out longer than a little bit, hun," David said and pulled her in his arms for a kiss. "Movies and then out dancing, what do you say?"
"Sounds like a plan," Apryl said.
Aunt June came over and took the twins. Then her mother and David headed out right after. She was left with DJ. They were still in the basement and the movie was over and it was so quiet.
She smiled at DJ and moved closer to him. "Soooooo...alone. We can do some things."
He held her back. "Nope...unh-unh, calm your hot self down."
"You mean, you don't want me?" She stood, pulled off her shirt, and his eyes zoomed in on her breasts.
"Now you know..." He stopped talking and reached over to caress her breasts. "We can't. I need to leave." He hopped up from his seat.
"Stay the night. Please!"
"No. You know I can't. My parents could be back soon and if they find me in the bed with you-"
"First of all, a movie is going to last a couple of hours, plus they said out dancing. Three, you'll be in my room, doors closed. And we'll be quiet."
"I see how sneaky you are." He wrapped his arms around her. "Is this how you were in your teens?"
