After the Arch, he decided she needed to see more of the city. Having been born and grown up there, surprisingly there were a lot of places she had not been. They first went to Forest Park and she thought he was going to make her do more walking, but he pulled her into the History Museum. She wasn't one for museums and such, but with DJ as her tour guide, the history buff, made it more interesting.

How could he be so nerdy and smart, and sexy too? She bet he had all the girls going crazy in school.

After they left the History Museum, he took her to the Boathouse. He rented a paddle boat and she was so glad he had tennis shoes on. It was a lot of work, but fun. She took so many pictures of them clowning around.

Next, another museum. The Art Museum. She thought she would be bored out of her mind, but it was gorgeous there. She liked art, though she did not understand much of it. DJ went back into his tour guide mode and gave her the rundown of everything.

"Do you have to know everything?"

"I stayed in here as a kid. Love this stuff. I did volunteer work here while I was in high school."

"That's right, you went to SLUH, so you could walk right over here."

"Naw, I had a car, I wasn't walking anywhere."

"Lot of girls take a ride in your car?"

"You do know SLU High is an all-boys school."

"Oh." She knew it was a private school and cost a pretty penny to go. He grew up privileged. Her mother, and his father, they could afford to send him there, while she had to fight to go to the magnet school she chose.

They had drastically different lives.

"You know what? Instead of the twins having their last day at camp this week, I want to take them around the city and teach them things. You want to join us?"

She did want to get closer to her siblings, and this way she could still hang with DJ, and not just in bed.

"Can we not do this much walking tomorrow?"

"Aw, my poor baby. I'll massage your feet tonight."

After the museum, he drove through the city till they stopped and parked at Crown Candy.

"Candy?"

"Not just candy, good food, and ice cream. You will love it."

There was a line, and he told her today was a good say, it was normally worse. Once they were inside she looked at the menu and smiled. She wanted an ice cream sundae but probably should get some food. She ordered a Heart Stopping BLT with so much bacon it probably literally would make her heart stop, and a side of chips. And to go she wanted a Crown sundae, with hot fudge, caramel sauce, and buttered roasted pecans.

DJ ordered the turkey bacon melt, chips, and Lovers Delight sundae which had crushed nuts, pineapple and strawberry sauce, slices of banana, whipped cream, and a cherry on top.

Neither could eat all their sundae. They were stuffed when they rolled out of there.

"Forgive me if we make it back to the room and I crash." It was kind of late but still light outside.

"Maybe we can go for a swim later." She grinned at him. "You're trying to start something."

"No, just swim. Let's take a nap first."

They both were knocked out in a matter of minutes and slept all night.

She woke up to him, rubbing her face, looking at her.
