DJ was right, there was a lot to learn at the Magic House.

She did not know what she expected but it was fun and cool and she learned some things. First, there was an outside play area and she thought, how was this learning, it was a bunch of kids playing. The twins got a kick out of it. The weather was nice and they could have done that all day.

"Now you know the fun is inside," DJ told the twins, pulling them away. "Come on little monsters."

"Yes, and it is hot as hell...I mean heck, out here!" She needed to watch her potty mouth around kids. She was getting better at it.

They had to pay to get in, and it was not a bad price. When she pulled out her card to pay, DJ stopped her.

"I got this."

"Why? I can pay. At least my own way and my sister's. You can be a macho man and pay for you and Darrell."

"No Gin, I got this."

She let out a sigh and let the boy pay. She was not going to argue with him about it.

The first thing they saw when they walked in was this board or red pixel things. Several kids were putting their faces on it and making shapes on the other side. Darrell used his hands to make prints in it while Dara took a board to smooth it out the board.

"And what is this supposed to teach?"

"Cause and effect," DJ said as he watched and took pictures of them.

"Excuse me?"

"Everything has a cause and effect. You push this in, it affects what comes out."

He was making things up. She looked at him to see if he was serious. He gave her a sly smile and she knew he was.

There were so many kids running around and loud, she feared she would lose her brother and sister, but DJ was good at keeping his eye on them as they ran off to other displays

There were so many kids running around and loud, she feared she would lose her brother and sister, but DJ was good at keeping his eye on them as they ran off to other displays. Every little display was something to learn. She stopped to read everything even though the twins wanted to run around touch things and play. DJ was patient with them, and her, trying to learn things.
