sorry if there're any mistakes in here, I spent over an hour doing this chapter bc I kept getting distracted and im tired. the same for the next chapter.

Kei looked at the lifeless eyes Tadashi has.

'What happened for you to be like this?'

Kei sighed, causing Tadashi to look at him.

"What's wrong, Tsukki?"

"It's just- it's nothing. I just had something in my mind."

"Oh, okay."

Kei sighed again, closing his eyes while Tadashi bit his bottom lip.

"Yamaguchi, do you wanna go on a walk with me?"

Tadashi looked at Kei who's at the doorway with a smile.

"Sure!"

Tadashi ran to the doorway and put his shoes on. They got out the house, Tadashi talking while Kei just listened. They decided to go to a store since Tadashi wanted to buy something. Tadashi ended up buying a book with stars and a moon on the cover and a pen that's dark green with polkadots wandering around it. Tadashi decided that he wanted to do something in the book so he made Kei wait for a bit.

After a few minutes, Tadashi finally finished doing whatever he was doing in his book so they started making their way to go back to Kei's house.

Kei Tsukishima's PoV.

We stopped at the crosswalk since our light was red. The road was empty and our light turned green, Yamaguchi started making his way through the crosswalk. He wasn't even 5 steps in before I notice a car driving towards him with speed.

"Yamaguchi, walk faster!-" I shouted before freezing in place, shock taking over me. I finally managed to process the scene in front of me and rushed over to the body.

"Yamaguchi!" I picked Yamaguchi up and carried him off the road. I place Yamaguchi down as gentle as I could, still panicking. I could see droplets landing on top of Yamaguchi's body. I realize that I was crying. I was trembling and my face felt hot. More tears fell out of my eyes and landed Yamaguchi's body. Remembering I needed to call for help, I took out my phone and dialed the number.

I was telling them about the event that just happened, talking in a fast pace. They told me to calm down and take a few deep breaths. Once they told me they were on their way I finally took some breaths, caressing Yamaguchi's head.

"Yamaguchi, please be awake. You're okay?"

"Tsukki...?"

My eyes widen, a smile appearing on my face.

"Yes. Stay awake. I'm sorry if you're in so much pain right now, but stay awake. the ambulance will be here soon. Keep your eyes open and focus on your breathing."

Yamaguchi tried his best to do what I told him to do, it was obvious. His breaths were shaky and his eyes slowly closes whenever he had non-shaky breaths.

"Tsukki, I'm tired... Can I sleep...?"

"No! Yamaguchi please- stay awake!"

"I'm sorry, Tsukki... I love...you..."

My eyes widen, tears rapidly dropping and flowing down my cheeks.

"Yamaguchi, you can't just sleep after you say that!"

Yamaguchi's eyes slowly as I tighten the grip on my phone.

"Mr Tsukishima, they're almost there."

"Yes, please hurry!"

"Tsukki...please take care of my book. I don't care if you write in it, just don't let anything bad happen to it."

I glance over at the mentioned items.

"I will."

I heard the sirens from the distance.

"Yamaguchi, please stay awake until they reach us."

"Tsukki, I'm tired..."

"Just a little longer. I promise you can sleep after this."

"Okay..."

I tried keeping Yamaguchi awake as I grew impatient. The ambulance finally arrived and they took Yamaguchi in.
