Everything was great. Kei finally got out of the hospital and he's been with Tadashi for months but, he still has some difficulties doing basic stuff. He finds discomfort in eating and of course Tadashi took note of that. Kei still stutters a bit when he talks and he can walk for a bit before needing Tadashi's help.

The one time when Tadashi went up to him in class and told him it's lunch time, Kei stood up and was able to walk a few steps before almost falling on the ground. Tadashi caught him in time since he got used to Kei doing this. Tadashi has asked him if he wanted a wheelchair but Kei told him no, that's why Tadashi got used to it. Reminds me of a trust fall, tbh.

Kei worries that Tadashi's still hurting himself but Tadashi doesn't even remember that he used to do it. When Tadashi was in the hospital, he always wonders why there're bandages on his arms and upper body. He figured that he hurt them in the incident but he felt like that's not the actual reason. He was still clueless trying to figure out the reason though, so he can't do anything about it. He completely forgot he used to harm himself after a few days in the hospital. The nurses only ever changed Tadashi's bandages when he was asleep or not paying attention to anything. Tadashi only saw his arms when he got discharged from the hospital but the scars already healed completely.

The other teams usually ask them why Kei isn't joining in the matches and Tadashi answers the questions with, "He's been feeling sick a lot lately and he probably won't participate in a conversation. Don't bother him so much." and they seem to buy the excuse so Tadashi just uses it everytime someone else asks the same question.

"Yamaguchi?"

"Yes Tsukki?"

"Do you still d- do it?"

Tadashi raised his brow and tilted his head slightly.

"Do what?"

"... N- nevermind."

Tadashi kept on wondering what Kei meant by "it" but he seemed concerned so it was probably something bad.

"Well, whatever you meant by that, I promise I'm not doing it." Tadashi went to Kei and gave him a hug. Kei hugged him back,

"You're s- so warm."

Tadashi chuckled and tighten the hug. They stayed there for a while, finding comfort in the warmth they had.

Tadashi was fast asleep on Kei's bed, snoring quietly. Kei stared at the freckles the younger boy has,

'28 freckles.'

Kei smiles slightly. Apparently he had counted how many freckles there are on the left side of Tadashi's cheek. Kei closed his eyes and some parts of his dream appeared once again. Kei opened his eyes wide out of shock. Kei started tearing up as his face felt hot. There was something about this one dream that always made him emotional. Tears fell as Kei held Tadashi close and tight. Knowing that Tadashi is in his arms, peacefully sleeping, Kei smiled and cried himself to sleep.
