Deborah has been wandering the road for over an hour. The storm may have calmed down, but Deborah's anxiety hadn't dissipated. Her mum has vanished for ages now and Deborah is out in the middle of nowhere trying to find her. Why the hell didn't she leave a note before she went? She thought to herself as she strolled on. The pitch black night had consumed every square inch of land ahead of Deborah. The trees were swaying in the wind, the owls were regularly interrupting the silence with their idle loud, continuous sounds, including hoots, barks, whistles, coos, and cries. All of these... were making Deborah uncomfortable.

so she reached into her pocket to take out her phone. She'd then tried to call the police, but unfortunately there appears to be no signals. "Shit. Fuck me." Deborah swore and kicked a tree in the log. Now what the hell is she supposed to do?

"I need to keep going. I have to. I will NOT rest until she is found." Deborah muttered to herself and treaded on alongside the roadway. So she kept on going through what seems like an endless forest. No clear direction whatsoever whether she's nearly on the other side or not. It was just complete darkness. She even can't spot the owls who are too busy hanging up the massive fir trees minding their own business.

And then...

[cough] [cough] {pause} [cough] [cough]

"HELLO?!" Deborah shouted. {pause} [cough] cough] "HELLO! IS SOMEONE THERE?!" She shrieked again. This time, only silence replied. She stayed silent, and still so that she can pick up the spot where the sound was coming from.

[cough] [cough] [cough] [cough]

Deborah began to follow the direction where the sound was coming from. Not sure where exactly, but she thinks she can pretty much point out the direction where she needs to go. The coughing started to become slightly repetitive as Deborah was getting closer towards where she needed to go.

When the coughing faded out of sound, Deborah paused in her tracks. There was a crater the size of a mining site just feet away from her. "What the--" The ground begin to shake. It was awful. And violent. Pieces of rock came rolling down the surface of the hole. Some rolled onto the surface at the bottom of the hole, whilst others rolled into what appears to be a endless, bottomless pit.

The dark that seemed to be somehow emerging creeped it's way along the surface, surrounding the crater with a blanket of blindness and depths. It's cloak of shade then begins casting it's mark.

But then... Deborah spotted something from the corner of her eye. In the crater below. She couldn't tell who it was, but she's pretty certain that it's a human. "HELLO!!!!!!!" She screamed as loud as she possibly can. The figure then turned it's attention towards Deborah. And then, she gasped with shock. "Mum! Over here!" She shrieked and waved her hand. She watched as her mum tried to get up from the ground.

But then...

A giant, rotten, pink tail shot out of the darkness and grabbed onto her. "HEY! LET GO OF HER!" Deborah screamed as she watched on. Then, a giant head came popping out, and then... the creature sunk it's terrifying teeth deep into Deborah's mum, with blood splashing and pouring out from her hips. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Deborah cried as she watched in horror. The beast was so terrifying and large that she didn't dare take a step forward. But she couldn't just leave her mum to die all by her own. But again, the creature was horrific. It was covered in her mum's blood and body parts sticking out from the corners of it's mouth.
