Chapter Eight | Relentless

Deborah persisted her way through the forest. She's worried that whatever the fuck back there was, was chasing there. She didn't want to look back in case she might trip on something that could potentially spell her fate. She tried to roughly guess what direction she was heading in. She scattered through the course of many trees, dodged pass prickly bushes, and slide around sharpy corners. "I need help..." Deborah spoke, struggling to breathe as she ran further away from the place where the... thing killed her mum. 

She then caught glimpse of a dimmed light post many, many yards ahead. But she has to keep going. God who knows how long she has before the... thing finds out where she is. As she continued to flee, she tried to refresh herself what the creature looked like. It waved it's massive... pink... tentacle? tail? at her mum before slamming it down hard onto the ground. She recalls the horrible moment when the creature, sunk its teeth into her stomach. 

Trying to shake it off, Deborah continued to sprint through the forest to get to the lamp post ahead. Flying through the last of the obstacles, Deborah's vision was going a bit dizzy. She slowed down a little to try and recollect herself. But it wouldn't stop. Her head was all over the place. She tried to ignore it by continuing to run towards the destined landmark ahead. 

And then... she collapsed...
